Good job I have the same kit , I like the way they turn out . Are those the stock pick ups? I changed mine out and never tried them :)

I am considering buying one of these. Everything looks fine, but one big question I have is, does the floyd rose tremolo stay in tune when using it?

You will have to set it p correctly, try brushin up an a few good floydrose set up skills on youtube vids and the trem will stay in tune when correctly done

What all do you like about this guitar? It sounds great but is it worth getting? I heard some people have their parts come in broken but they are easily replaceable. And people also say the neck comes in warped, but thats also easily fixable.

i can only speak for my experience ordering these guitar kits and they've been nothing more than exemplary..the neck is great, the body is perfect, i'm happy with the pups(already prewired)...i feel bad for those who had problems, i didnt have any prob... also, i go by the product ratings too and these kits have 4 stars and a half..also, we enjoy building and for $159 a kit heck yeah i think it's worth it, however id suggest you look up more info before purchasing just to ease your mind.

and as with every kit you will need some basic "setup" skill and knowledge.

I ordered a telecaster version and it’s out of the box amazing. I strung it up just to make sure everything fit together before painting and was amazed at the quality. Time of purchase was $82, worth every penny so far. The tuners are not great, but I was able to string the guitar and tune it. I’d probably change those but eventually. I didn’t think oh my gosh I can’t build it without new tuners. I will replace them in time. The electronics all clipping together worked as well. I did this as a test run to see if I would like guitar building, so for me I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Did your fretboard wood come in as dark ebony or did you dye it? Because on the pictures for amazon it shows it as a different wood.

I'm thinking about getting one. I'm curious if you know what the frets are made of, and did they need any dressing? Sounds good though! You were jamming!

we didnt feel the need to dress the frets they didnt look dry and looked pretty good they might have already factory dressed it i could be wrong as it was not in the descript..one side note i had to slightly adjust the truss rod to get rid of a slight buzz, ....i copy pasted the kit descrption below: Leo Jaymz DIY Electric Guitar Kits in IBZ Style - Ash Body and Maple Neck - Composite ebony Fingerboard - Lichtenberg wood Burning Body - All Components Included (7V) and yeah with all its original components and a good setup this axe plays and feels great and sounds great.
