Michael Johnson is the most unheralded talent of my lifetime. I have been listening to him since the 70's and was heartbroken when he passed. Everyone I introduce to him is amazed.

I completely agree. I was a little girl in the 70's and if I had been older, I would have run to one of his concert's. I too was very sad to learn he had passed away. I was wondering where he was buried, I would love to visit his grave, pay my respects to a very talented musician who this world is lost without. I hope he is looking down upon his faithful fans and sees how much we really do love and miss him.

I’m watching this in 2023 and I can’t help thinking Leo and Matt Damon could have been twins if you leave the age difference out of it.

Still stirring the musical soul in 2023. THANK YOU.

I remember watching this when it aired on local public television. Some things in life are worth encountering again and again. As for the single dislike thus far, I wonder what it feels like be alone in the universe.

My first time to hear MJ. Saw Leo live about ‘73 or ‘74 after hearing some of his albums. I have continued to listen to him since. Having albums. Supporting him now through KZbin, it’s been quite a journey. Thanks for posting this video of Leo and MJ.

"All of my records have come back to hunt me one way or another", says MJ. Kottke literally put this in the back cover notes on one of his records where he revisited/re-recorded some of his earlier songs.

Hats off to public television. Two guitarheads is better than one. P. S. I think that's "Airproofing" there at the end.

My," one and only wife," was Pamela, and she she was brown...❤
Leo said that he had a Gibson L5 that he loved in a Guitar Player interview. Great-sounding guitar. He should have played it more often.

I say Michael Johnson play solo back around 1991or so; he was very good. "Drops of Water" is one I particularly remember, as well as a great rendition of "Jacques Cousteau" (written by Plastique Bertrand). Who's the woman hosting the show? She actually seems to know something about the artists and their music, or at the very least she did some research in advance. We could use more interviewers of this caliber. I've watched some interviews of Richard Thompson where the hosts didn't have a clue.

Michelle was almost unbearably gorgeous, as was Leo. What an explosive era in the Twin Cities 40 years ago.
