And it's ironic that it was one of the few times in the fight where Leon made Usman back up. Cause Usman was pretty much in bully mode the whole fight. Leon's corner should get their flowers as well. They spent 3 sessions in between rounds Appealing to Leon's pride to make sure he didn't quit.

I love undisputed as a show . Hearing Skip and Shannon go at it is the morning is always entertaining, but this segment was so cringy and hard to get through as a die hard mma fan 😅 hearing Shannon break down the fight and then skip saying Leon was on a 15 fight win streak (that was usmans streak). You would think they had a team to go thru the facts of each fighter so they don’t embarrass themselves on live tv but that’s why no one’s gonna take their take serious on it lol

This is why fighting sports are so great. One great moment from someone or one bad slip up from another could instantly cost you the night and the training you have done for the past couple months specifically for that fight. This was perfect execution by Leon and do not let people not give this man his credit. What he did to end the fight was so spectacular and you really can’t criticize it at all because it was against a great fighter like Usman and Leon just took it to him at the end executed everything to perfection. One of the best fights we had in a while.

@Malus Yeah I defiently agree. My point was that individual sports can lose excitement in sports that are set in a way for the underdog to rarely overcome the opponents. In a sport like tennis, the better player will generally win due to them having multiple sets which allow the better player to be the victor since each slip up has less impact on the outcome compared to fighting sports. Fighting sports gives the underdog much more chances in winning because one mistake by favored fighter could cost him the whole fight unlike most individual sports.

Edwards was Landing calf kicks all night right before the knockout he landed a calf kick when a cam with that kick Usman was thinking it was another calf kick and went to go check it that's when the the kick him up and kicked him in the head. Edwards set it up perfect

Guys do not be biased. Usman did not switch off, Leon worked on that combo in training. He did not miss those straights, they were faints. The left stright was thrown to cover the head kick. Leon did not really take much damage either.

Wasn’t a bad move from usman. He wanted to slip to the punching side so he wouldn’t be open to a follow up punch. Great technique by Leon to follow immediately with the kick, knowing usman would slip to that side.

Nobody gonna mention how easy Leon kept switching stances ALL fight long? Trevor Whitmman did Usman a disservice by not addressing that. Usman is more than capable of covering the space between them but kept giving Leon all the time in the world to switch his attacks. In orthodox, leon leads with his left hand, in southpaw he likes to kick and throw straight lefts.
