I guess I don't see them as "siblings," but I see them more as the relationship they were meant to be, him as her escort/bodyguard. Because the situation lent itself to some cooperation, they developed some camaraderie, but that's pretty much it. Sure, there may have been some attraction on one or both of their parts, but I really didn't see anything that truly developed that. Storywise, I think Leon would know better than to get into that kind of mess anyway. Any shipping for those two is really just the usual fans pairing up main characters whenever they can.

I have played the games multiple times and you can clearly see the affection they developed ( Dialoge => he jokes or smiles ) for example. At the beginning Leon was very withdrawn and professional but over time you notice how affectionate he was to her ❤

@@Sam-wb6zm so, two people in a high-stakes sitch having to work together. Imagine some affection developing! Sure, some affection, attachment, and even attraction may be develop, but deep-seated, meaningful desires? Definitely not on Leon's, and other than a school-girlie crush, not really on Ashley's either. Again, could something develop? Sure. But within the game that we saw, not present t yet. Leon clearly was still drawn to Ada, thus his inquiry into her intentions with him. Why would he care otherwise?

@@saga2964 You could say the same about Ada and Leon. i RE2R has only cheated and lied to Ada and Leon up to this point, which is why there can't or won't be any future for the two of them anyway. So you really have to have played the game with your eyes closed in order to deny or ignore all the romantic implications. All the dialogue between the two was about Ashley except for the one in the boat. You can clearly see at the end of Resident Evil four remake that Leon is done with ada.
