Thank you Leon, for sharing your amazing success story with us. For those of us here that have had, or been diagnosed with CFS, I want you to know that there is great hope. Hope for complete recovery. Many years ago I had CFS/ME so severely that I was bedbound for seven years! I didn’t realize it at the time, but I had implemented Sarno’s truths on my own. Seven long years into it, I began to thank God for healing me. In other words, I believed in my brain, in my heart, that I was healed. And within three months, I was completely well. I stayed well and active for 19 years… 2021/summertime found me with those old, familiar chronic fatigue symptoms, my doctor said I had had a relapse. I knew deep down there had to be some thing to the mind-body connection because I had gotten well once, so how did this happen? It turned out I had a sick parathyroid, and had surgery to correct it in July of last year. However, I was left with those old hateful symptoms. Fatigue that was relentless, I would just sit on my bed propped up with my eyes closed. It was then that I discovered Sarno, and thank God, Dan! It was totally fear-based, my nervous system was on high alert constantly from health anxiety. I thought I would once again become bedbound. I had always been a, hit the floor running kind of a gal, and so the severe brain fog and fatigue was overwhelmingly scary for me. When I began to listen to Dan on a daily basis, he explained that what we need to do is just start living life again. We cannot wait for our symptoms to cease, before we start living life again. I promise you, the fear will be too strong as you think you will crash, if you can simply reassure your brain and your nervous system that you are not broken, that you are whole, and already well, it will do wonders for you. I agree with Dan 100% that a worried brain, that is consumed with figuring out what is wrong, a brain that is sad because we are sick, is a brain that will want us to rest, stay in bed, and just sleep to forget it all. Life is worth the living, don’t be afraid of the crash and burn. The lie of chronic fatigue syndrome took almost 10 years away from me. I am not bitter, I am grateful. My very best to each and everyone of you.

Wonderful story! First time I had ME/CFS I was 19yo. Nobody could tell what was going on with me. Since all my medical tests came out clear, after a while I was convinced that I’m actually alright. I developed health anxiety ever since but I managed to recover fast. This time, it’s a little slower since my anxiety feeds the fear and vice Versa, but well I’ve done incredible work and feeling better and better every month! Leon, you came as the voice of my young adulthood and I’m very grateful to you and Dan for this video ❤

So happy for you Leon. This is terrific news that you have your life back. Go and live it to the full. This testimonial just cements the fact that as soon as we make a firm decision that we are ok, things can turn off. Just like Steve has been going on about recently in the calls as it was instant for him. This gets me so excited because that flip has switched for me going from my head to my heart and since then things have been much better and my progress is moving much faster because I KNOW the brain is really starting to get the message now. Brilliant testimonial and I hope others look at this testimonial not as frustrating because it is taking longer for them, but instead more proof that it can turn off FAST when the brain fully gets the message. Loved it! Thanks Dan and Leon for this.

These recovery stories are a powerful antidote to the madness promoted by the CFS/long covid "communities". Sadly, so many will only take advice from those who are still sick rather than those who have recovered. That is the equivalent of taking weight loss advice from the morbidly obese or financial advice from the homeless.

Great interview and always love to hear that fellow cfs people have recovered through this method x i have had cfs for 4 years now, i am fairly mild and have been improving but felt a little stuck lately x last week i went to Rome for 3 days with my husband and son x i walked for 6/7 hours, and felt normal tired x got back and have had some symptoms flare (adjustment period) but kind of to be expected and just accepting without fear/worry tho pulling back a little-not in fear but just to allow my nervous system to settle again x its amazing what you can do with this mindset, i was happy and excited and my brain obviously went ‘oh she’s fine-no symptoms required! go figure 🤷‍♀️ i do what he suggests-listen to 1 or 2 of your videos most days and it helps me stay on track x thanks both 👍

Oh man that's so awesome, congrats Leon. I'm also doing the same approach for my cfs. I had an incredibly quick turnaround too, was exercising a week after learning about TMS. Kept it up for a few weeks but then symptoms started creeping back after a particularly heavy workout, which was also a busy and slightly stressful day. Now the fear and doubt is back as the symptoms have been here for over a week now. Trying my best to keep calm but so difficult! Thank you for sharing, some reassuring parts in here

it can be so easy to fall back into fearful thinking or old unhelpful behaviour patterns that send a message of danger x you can do this just keep picking yourself back up each day, symptoms will flare as you do more, the key is how you respond to these

@@dotot341 i posted on here how i was in Rome last week where i walked for hours no problem but now i’m home i have symptoms flaring and like you i’m feeling anxious and having doubts but i know if i respond the right way it will settle again x dont kniw if you follow miguel bautista but he calls it an adjustment period which is your nervous system telling you its overstimulated but the key is to respond in the right way so that you send the message that you’re ok and in time the ns gets this message and things settle x with cfs we are almost brainwashed into believing that symptoms mean we have ‘done too much’ and need to rest, yes when symptoms flare i think its sensible to pull back a bit but not fearfully, just to let things settle then hopefully you can keep moving forward x abit like going to the gym-you would expect your muscles to be sore but you’re not in danger and theres nothing wrong so you wait a few days, your muscles recover and then you workout again x i think its the same with cfs but its your nervous system instead x all the best to you

My fatigue started in 2017 and then constant thirst day and night- so I was tested for diabetes 4 times over four years but I was fine, and blood test were fine - all tests taken were fine -for the past six years but I was always fatigued and extremely thirsty - It was not until this past June 2023 that I came across CFS and realized this is what I have - and now in July 2023 TMS makes perfect sense. My TMS journey journey just started - I have been going to the beach all summer and taking short day trips out to beach towns as I love the beach so that helped alot - now I am trying to figure out what to do in winter to get out into nature because I live in NYC.

It's common, but it doesn't have to be any more difficult. Put anxiety in the same category of back pain. Anxiety is simply the result of the brain perceiving danger.
