The good guys lost....reminds me of the 2 tours I spent in Vietnam. A war we could have easily won, but we weren't allowed to. The first time I heard this song was in a movie, and the character played it slower, it took almost 12 minutes to get through the song. It was still Leonard Cohen, but the sound track for that movie has it much much slower and thats how I grew up with it. I was born in the 70's, didn't here it till the 90's, cant remember the movie.... It was about a reject kid with a radio station in his room? Anyways, first time I heard this song and LOVED it!!!!! Now its 2021 and I'm 45 and still loving it!
