Wow. I think this is the best arrangement of the song that I have ever heard and the performance was stellar. Sometimes powerful, sometimes tender. You play with emotion. I haven't played for years and I'm about to start again. Sometimes, when I was in my mid-teens my mom would come to me after I played and she would say "Sweetie,, what's wrong?" I'd give the usual teenage boy response of "nothing." She would then say "well, you were playing so sadly today." The greatest compliment that I can give to another musician is this: a successful performance of this song leaves me in tears. Mission accomplished, my friend.

I have listened to a lot of different ways this sing is played and this is the best I have ever heard and I am going to learn this version for my recital. My former piano teacher will be extremely excited, I was going to say surprised but she learned a long time ago not to be surprised by how fast I pick thing up. I usually start learning my recital songs a month maybe 2 months before the recital no matter how hard the song is I always have it memorized within a few hours or at most 1 week and ready for the recital. I learned Sammy's song off of Criminal Minds "Coda" just by listening to the piano version over and over and I played at my mom's funeral in Oct. 2015 then not even a month at my recital and it has been requested every year since even though I have moved a 100 miles I still when up this past November and played it just for Rose ( my piano teacher) she has been like a second mom to me, when we played are pianos together whether I am backing her up or she is backing me up or if we are playing together it is absolutely magical you can feel the presence of God when we played and when are hour is up it feels like it has only been 15 minutes.

Well I heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well it goes like this: the fourth, the fifth The minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah [x4] Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you She tied you to her kitchen chair She broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah [x4] Baby I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor (you know) I used to live alone before I knew you And I've seen your flag on the marble arch And love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah [x4]…
