It might just be the feels of the song. But we really take for granted what we are capable of. This song is not just hard. Its insane levels of precision, timing, talent. This musician knows the piano inside and out. The spaces between the keys. He comfortably plays between them while hitting 36 notes in a second. Look at what you can acomplish. We are capable of so much.

You skipped a verse. There was a time when you let me know what's real and going on below but now you never show it to me do ya I remember when I moved in you the holy dark was moving too and every breath we drew was Hallelujah Plus Leonard Cohen has a bunch more that I don't remember. But typically when the song is sung/played it has five verses. The one I included being the fourth.

My first dog died the day the first Shrek came out (I was 11) My grandparents took us (me and my siblings) to see it to get our minds off of everything and it was my first time hearing this song, and I associate it with her, so it's always been a very emotional song for me and this version of it is absolutely breathtaking. I’m not too happy about this arrangement either. Way too much pedal, which lessens the dynamic between soft/powerful. It should’ve been way softer for the first half of the piece in order to really show the contrast when you get closer to the crescendo.

I don't know either, for sure, but there is clearly some kind of light there, that shows on his hands as he plays. At a guess, he has the green lights set up on the piano, and he adds the notes in with the computer, later.

Yeah, that Kyle Landry's arranged of this piece is out of space. You can check his other videos. Some of them are also used by Tom, e.g River flows in you.
