Oh we have this hotel booked for our pre cruise stay next year. I am so glad you highlighted accessibility. I cant use stairs well somedays are easier than others but i think i may cancel, we also have a reservation for the restaurant but I will take a look at your other hotel vlogs and see what they are like. Great vlog Jamie, we love the Leonardo. I will defo splurge out for a junior suite next time - lovely. When we went on Arvia in April I made that very big mistake of booking the wrong one 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. I was so angry with myself, I had no idea there was another one. We found it and it has no parking nearby. At all. I was so mad with myself that I ended up paying for a room in The Holiday Inn. The old credit card took a beating that day!! Lesson learned. Have a great trip!!

@@TravelBlogJamie - yes it was the jury’s inn. Mick ran in to ask for directions to car parks and they weren’t close, I hate leaving our luggage overnight in the car, esp if it’s not the hotel car park, so we would have had to schlep our luggage to and from the car park…it was Saturday afternoon busy roads and we were driving around aimlessly getting mad with each other, the car parks were full because there was some university day or something and so we headed straight to the holiday inn! Grand Harbour Leonardo didn’t have any rooms. I put the extra cost down to Idiot Tax 🤣

We stayed there a few years ago (before it was a Leonardo) had a lovely balcony room but the pool was freezing! Glad to see it’s warmed up now!

I used to work in the spa there, we used to get complaints all the time about the accessibility, we had to take guests through the fire exit door behind concerge and through the door on poolside. So not great and embarrassing for the guests in their dressing gowns walking in the lobby. Glad they have finally put some money into the bar and rooms. It looks very nice now!

We stayed there a few years back. Had a meal there and the waiter dropped one of our starters on the floor. We were then asked if we wanted the starters and main meal served at the same time, of course we said no as the main would have been cold by the time we would have finished starter. So don't think we will stay here again.

Great Vlog as usual Jamie . We have only stayed at the Holiday Inn express by the M27 and the cricket ground before a cruise so a little out of the city. Seems a hotel in the city centre you are best parking in the Quays would you say ?

Yes, west quay or east gate street both £5 for 24 hours and excellent value!

Not all places are for everyone are there - we really enjoy it and much more now than when it was the De Vere
