For a lot of the kuji items from the second hand shop, to explain the pricing... If the shop does NOT have an item already, they'll sell it for more, but every one they get after that, will be marked down a bit so they don't have a weird surplus of one item/figure/etc. Just prevents a lot of excess stock and the customer gets a deal. Not really a huge thing, just wanted to mention this because most people are the same and would assume something is wrong with the cheaper item, but significant majority of the time there's no problem, just means they have more than one. Also worth noting this because if you're shopping at one of those stores, dig a bit and look around if you find a figure you like. Because you might find it on another shelf at a cheaper price.

That candy cannot be sold anymore but not so much due to age, but because those are Sakuma Drops and they did not survive COVID, vintage candy over here from around WW2. But they went out of business in the middle of COVID. :(

for my friend and I we loved getting figures a few years back. However; both of us being in small spaces we run out of room quickly. So, we get standees, they layer on the shelves better and I can incorporate them into my decor easier. I even have a few that light up that act as night lights or lamps for when I can't stand over head lights. But I'm also with you and I like things that are functional, that floor mat would be put somewhere in my home and well loved.

I used to turn my clear files and pencil boards (aging myself there) into a mosaic style poster with matte border. As for the journal, you could use it to write positive messages to future you. Use the decorative washi tape, etc. Great haul (so jealous!!!!), but glad you're back. Thanks for sharing your adventure and experience in the stores. ❤

The whole “masking tape” moment was adorable. Those small rolls of tapes are most likely “washi tape” that’s used in stationary/journaling crafting (perfect for your new journal). However, you spent the coin on them so you can use them however you goddamn please so mask away to your heart’s content Queen! *The absolute kinship I felt when you expressed your disappointment in Bandai for still holding out on releasing the original anime version of the Eternal Tiare❤❤❤

Thanks for making an exception to your usual content and sharing this. Beautiful stuff. ❤ I love the ice skating art (reminds me of another of Naoko's works featuring figure skaters, The Cherry Project). Evidently ice skating was a big part of her life and influenced her art (from a blog by a creator called Tuxedo Unmasked). Neat. The knit inside the hoodie reminds me of the inside of some of my favorite Uniqlo sweats. They're slightly stretchy, super comfy, and about as warm as a thin fleece. I definitely prefer that kind of knit to the fluffy, fuzzy fleece that sheds everywhere. Fleece may seem more luxe initially, but I've found that I prefer a good cotton knit for the long haul. P.S. Aww, that tiny escape artist is adorable! (10:20-10:28)

Probably won’t be able to go for a few years cause I’m trying to set up my otaku bus home 😂 🙏🏻 hopefully I can go 10:59 same here!! I have so many fan made hoodies and clothes for the games I play cause they look awesome and are useful. 12:23 I think the main appeal of them is they are cool To look at and are cheaper then figures. I have some and they are cool to have on like a dashboard or window sill where figures would get broken
