Real vocals, talented musicians, great lyrics, awesome performance - this is why Leon isn't bigger. The current music industry does not recognize these things. Thank you Leon for continuing a great tradition that today's mainstream is trying to squash. Today's popular music is about auto-tuned voices, hooker-like appearances, and boy bands. Though this is a generalization, there is some truth to it. Leon and his band are tremendous!

You’re not wrong; she is a bit flat, but that’s intentional. Think about other doo-wop or soul tunes with a trio of backup singers in harmony juuust under the pitch...it’s part of that smooth laid back sound. I think the trouble here is, a) she’s solo, and b) she’s too loud in the mix.
