Welcome back to another vlog! It’s another homey one as I prepare for my Mother in Law to visit by creating a warm autumnal tablescape, an exquisite floral arrangement and prepare the most heavenly Cinnamon Apple Blondies with a Maple Syrup Cream Cheese Frosting!

Who knew cooking an apple cake required wearing a helmet? I know that had to really hurt when you were bonked on the head by that errant apple. We now know there are hazards in having a glorious orchard and harvesting your own ingredients. I love that you seem to make the most of the abundance out your back door! Thoroughly enjoyed the florals and the tablescape! Having a variety of seasonal decor makes putting a fabulous table together so fun and beautiful! The fact that you can so easily augment it with amazing goodies from your garden makes even more special! I hope you all make the most of Mark’s mother’s visit. Hi I grew up in a 100 year old home with a gigantic backyard with orchard of Plum trees, apples, grapes & quince. It was my duty to climb (because I loved climbing) our huge plum tree & fill baskets of plums for our home & our family. My mother made a tea cake on Sundays & we spread butter on the top of the hot cake then sprinkled with cinnamon & then spread butter on the sliced warm cake wow so delicious. I'm going to make a chocolate cake with chocolate icing for our birthday this year as my 2 cats Saffron-Skye & Shantiv celebrate their birthdays with me in November every year. Hi Leonora! Your apple picking was so funny! Those apple cinnamon blondies looked so scrum-de-la-yum! 😂 I am sadly gluten and dairy free so must live vicariously thru you. Hi Leonora how lovely to hear from you again. Thank you for sharing your tablescape, I always enjoy your vlogs but whenever there is cooking or baking then I am gripped, so thank you again. I will attempt to make those blondies. The time you made plum pie I purchased plums but ate most of them so couldnt bake. Today I picked apples from my neighbours heavily laden apple tree, so I have no excuse😂 Enjoy family time darling.
