Welcome back to Vlogmas! It's not long to go now and if your home is anything like mine, this is when the preparations for hosting really start to ramp up! So today I bring you some of my favourite festive canapés along with some top tips for hosting this Christmas.

Brie and Cranberry Wreath
Ingredients
Pastry
Brie
Cranberry Sauce
Fresh Cranberries
Dried Cranberries
Chopped Nuts
Egg
Honey
Cut your pastry into triangles and place around a bowl. Spread your cranberry sauce on top of the pastry in a ring around the bowl. Chop your brie pieces and place on top. Sprinkle with chopped cranberries and nuts. Remove the bowl. Pull the outside edge of each triangle in over the filling and tuck under. Wash with the whisked egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Drizzle over honey, add some more cranberries and nuts, et voila!
Hassleback Potatoes:
Baby Potatoes
Creme Freche
Caviar
Par Boil your potatoes. Then, cut slices in each potato (without going all the way through). Roast until crispy. Serve with creme freche topped with caviar.
Smoked Salmon Blinis
Smoked Salmon
Creme Freche
Blinis
Caviar
Chives
Warm your blinis through in the oven. Meanwhile, twist slithers of the smoke salmon around your finger to form little rosettes. Spread some creme freche onto each blini, place your salmon rosette on top, place in some caviar and top with chopped chives.
Charcuterie Board
A selection of salamis
A selection of cheeses
Grapes
Figs
Cranberries
Apple
Rosemary
Chutney
Crackers
Form your salamis into rosettes using a glass. Place on a large serving platter or chopping board, fill in the gaps with all the other delicious items!
