Thanks for the video mate. I really liked the bits on the inside, it has changed a bit since I served on one of them... Almost 30 years ago.

That is an awesome video - thanks so much for posting it! I love the bit at 1:40 where you drive past the Leopard 2 being towed by the ARV!

The LEO2 broke down in front of about 500 spectators, including my self, at the live-fire demonstration. I think some the commander he felt a bit... embarrased? ;)

I did not know, that tank engines/guns/tracks sound like some stupid music...

Well now you know! There’s plenty of videos on the channel where you can enjoy the sound of exactly that.

This video is badass! Are you a Leopard 1 tanker or just a tank enthusiast? I'm an M1A1 gunner. Feel free to check out some of my videos.

Thanks! Glad you liked it :) Yes I'm a tanker, retired however. But still doing some maintenance on the retired Leopard 1A5-DK1 in my sparetime, and participating in some public shows for the public. as the video shows a Little bit of.

y but after all leo 1 is a can...Ill never fight in that tank, you can pen it with 30mm guns
@MikalHjortby8 жыл бұрын
+SparkySlow&# Thats why they're not in service anymore and haven't been since 2004. ;) But eventhough they're a bit soft skinned, it still has one of the most precise guns, and newer fire control system (EMES 18) than the leo2's EMES15 and with it's rifled cannon. Even a 105mm DM63 leaves a mark ;) So as always it's matter of finding your target first and hitting your target first. And that goes even for the newer generation tanks. and 30mm are not going through the frontal armor. side and back probably. Some of these leopards saw action in Bosnia in 94. So they're still kept and maintained for their history in the Balkans.
