Thanks for this video! My new leapord wrasse took 6 days to come out during the day,, still not eating prepared foods that I can see... going to try eggs and pods tomorrow

He sleeps in the same spot, and the melanusus wrasse sleeps on his same spot ,,, all seem to be doing well together

Anytime! Glad he is out more! Yea try fish eggs and pods. With pods I dump them in at night after lights off. I turn the pumps off, dump them in and wait 15-20 min and then turn them back on. Keep me posted! 😁

Hi there! No they were not a mated pair, wrasses are difficult to pair up IMO. I don't have them anymore, I traded both to my LFS because they became aggressive towards my China Wrasse.

What is the hardiest leopard wrasse? I want a blue star but i heard there not so hardy

Hi there! I have 2 Blue stars. Leopards are not a easy fish at all, but if I had to pick one that is easier than other Leopards I would say a Melegris Leopard Wrasse. I have one of those as well. They are the standard Leopard with Leopard spots. Beautiful fish. Make sure you get it from a LFS, make sure they have it for at least a week, and it's eating frozen. Also I would not recommend quarantine for Leopards. I don't QT my fish at all anyway, but Leopards are sensitive to copper etc, and hyposalinity. Also make sure you have a sand bed of at least 2 inches. Hope this helps!
