That copperband fish you have is incredible. What a reef. I'm picking up a red sea reefer 250 very soon to start my hobby. I can't wait. I hope one day I can afford this beast of a tank you have so I can keep some of the fish you have that would be far to large for my red sea reefer 250

Beautiful. I just added a juvie blue star leopard wrasse to my tank and my Melanurus Wrasse has been giving it a hard time for a few days but seems to be easing up now. I have vids of them on my channel.

One of the most beautiful aquariums I have seen, if not the most beautiful. Thanks for the video :) Does the Blue Star Leopard Wrasse eat any pests that infect corals? I was looking at getting a Melanurus Wrasse but the Blue Star Leopard is one of the most beautiful I have seen.

Thank you very much Robert! The Blue Star does indeed eat pests as well, but no guarantees. From what I've heard the yellow ones are the best for battling pests

Looks great! Question, what kind of sand (at least what particle size) and what depth are you running? It looks fairly course, but seems like it doesn’t blow around. Also, tell us about that jack knife in a reef one day!

Hi Brian, yeah I'm using ATI Fiji White and CaribSea AragAlive sand, both I think are 0.5-1mm in size. Indeed it doesn't blow around but it's fine enough for the sand sifting goby and the wrasse

Thank you! I'm using the standard Red Sea Reefer sump with a skimmer and UV-c. The one on the right is a large leather soft coral!

What's your tips on keeping the Copperband? Not about being reef safe, but getting them to eat and live a long life.

Try feeding them seperately or at least first! I have taught mine to eat from the net that I'm feeding with so he always eats first!
