Just love the fact that he still puts his toys to bed at night. Such a magnificent boy, crunchy and raspy tongue.

Manny is amazing! His crunching is scary. From a distance you just want to pet him then you hear that crunch and realize that could be an arm, leg or your skull! Fences are a wonderful tool!

Speaks volumes when there are some big cat species where there are more in captivity than in the wild. In many ways captivity is another word for preservation. How many Amur Leopards and Sumatran Tigers are left in the wild? Less than 200 of each. Clouded Leopards they probably don't know because they are almost never seen by man. Maybe that's a good thing.

Oops, Armani is talking first. It’s her first Christmas without her sister, but she seems to be doing well. They have been great about giving her extra TLC!

How are her hot spots? Has she had more problems with them? Are they seasonal, or year long because it’s always warm?

Oops! Sundari is a girl, not a boy!

I can’t believe they where declawed that is horrible so cruel. It is like cutting your fingers an toes off at the knuckles. They will never be able to defend themselves or climb trees. And let’s not forget the day in, day out aches and pain in the joints makes it very hard to walk. Very cruel thing to do. Poor kitty. 🙀😿 I struggled with trying to get thru to people at the shelter to listen to me. Never declaw a cat they can be taught not to scratch or climb up furniture or all kinds of stupid little things that people complain about. Cats are very smart and lovable they like to hang out with us. 😺

I'm curious what Carole's optimum solution would be to preserve an endangered species that is indigenous to country with a gov't that's indifferent or too weak or poor to enforce wildlife protection. The amur leopard, for example, which is indigenous to Russia and China two of the most brutally indifferent government there are to the rights of animals. Several years ago my sister was volunteering with a dog rescuing organization that got involved in the stray dogs the Russians were rounding up in sochi and trying to put down on the down low before the Olympic games without attracting bad press and she said that the prevailing attitude among most of the Russians the staff met was puzzlement over Americans obsession with saving what they thought of as no different then rats because over there the notion that animals should have any rights is met similarly to how people feel about activist vegans here. It's just completely out of the average Russians wheelhouse. China, is changing but without even civil rights for people, the only way to encourage change is to shame the ministers at global events but with our new administrations anti environmental stance American NGOs have no feet to stand on. I would think in such a situation captive breeding to keep up the genetic diversity would be better then allowing the species to die out completely, right? I admit I could missing something, I'm not an expert like Carole, who is my ultimate hero.

Can you please increase the volume of your uploads and speak a little louder or closer to the microphone? I'm wearing headphones at full volume and it's still hard to hear you at certain points of most videos. I really want to hear all the informative explanations and stories
