I don't think there is a single person that doesn't love Evelyn Hugo!! The Final Empire is on my TBR for this year, and hearing you talk about it makes me so so excited for it!! YES FOR WE ARE NOT OKAY! I don't hear people talking about it that much anymore, but it is so SO good!! I think the way you described it is so perfect - it is gorgeous in its simplicity Sadie is so amazing and thrilling!! Little Fires Everywhere was such an interesting read for me! I think you definitely did it justice in the way you talked about it!! I never thought of the custody battle for the child as the main part of the book, but rather the story of the mother-daughter and Mia's history as the main plot but you are so right - the main part of the book and why it is so impactful is because it makes you wonder what is better for that little baby

Good choices! I loved Radio Silence, We Are Okay, Sadie, and Muse of Nightmares! I didn't read any of them in 2019, otherwise they'd have been in my favorite books of 2019 video. I will definitely be reading the Song of Achilles sometime soon because I've heard great things about it.

My favorites of 2019 were the entire Mistborn trilogy and the Nevernight series, also The Secret History and Daisy Jones & The Six for standalones! All these became my favorite books of all time 😍

New to your channel... You popped up on my recommended videos and I’m quite delighted by your style. I always go to see new booktuber’s favorites to see if we enjoy similar books. I was quite pleased to see you hold up Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo first. You had me! I read this in January 2020 at the same time I listened to Daisy Jones & the Six. I LOVED both and now feel I have to read all of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books. Evelyn Hugo is now my favorite book ever and can’t wait to reread. In February of this year I read Little Fires Everywhere and thought it was FANTASTIC. I’m currently watching the Hulu adaptation which I have some issues with, but it’s still good. And then I have Song of Achilles on my TBR for this year. I read CIRCE and really enjoyed it and got me excited to read more from Madeline Miller. After hearing your review, I might have to move that book up my list. Cant wait to see more of your videos!
