Some had their horses all killed for fear too. The kid's taken, hair cut, forbidden to speak their language and severely punished if they did. So our language's banned. History has a way of repeating itself. It really could happen. However, I am willing to comply to efforts placed to serve all people and keep us healthy. The spirit of the warrior is best honored by the indigenous people of this nation. As a United States Marine Corps Veteran my first experience of this was with my cousins at the Winnebago Pow Wow/ Homecoming Celebration in 2013. After Desert Storm I came home to ticker tape parades and celebrations but NONE will even come close to the pride I felt for my service and the people as I did that day in 2013. I was approached and "thanked" by so many native people that day who I had never met that it overehelmed me at one.point to tears. Many of my brothers, fellow Marines, were indigenous warriors that served this nation proudly. To those brothers, the indigenous people all across this nation, and to all spirits of the warrior heart that watch over us....thank you and Semper Fidelis...

During the Irish famine of 1847, the Choctaw Nation sent $170 ($5,000 today) of relief aid to the Irish people, despite facing hardship themselves. More recently, Irish people came out in force to donate to a go fund me campaign to help the Navajo Nation during the pandemic. In 2020 the Irish Lacrosse team were due to play at the World Games in Birmingham, Alabama. Due to politics surrounding the game, the Iroquois Nationals were deemed ineligible. The CEO of Irish Lacrosse said "we owe the game of lacrosse to the Iroquois. They invented it - they said they received the game from the Creator". The Irish team gave up their place at the games to allow the Iroquois to play. They did it they said "because it was the right thing to do" 👏👏👏

Kiaora from your Indeginous Maori & NZ brothers & sisters from Aotraroa NZ. Kia kaha we feel your love. Your day of reckoning is coming as to celebrate together, unite as one. United we fall divided we fall & if our backs should ever be against the wall we'll be together, together, together we as one.
