How I feel when listening to Leprous is alternately a sharp, jangly, electrified excitement or a deep, pit-of-your-stomach ache at the gorgeous beauty and creativity of Nordic men. 😉

I really didn't know if I liked them until I saw them live. Then I was hooked and they are one of the best live bands I have seen. Now they are in my top 3 bands with Caligula's Horse and Periphery. The old drummer joined Baard for this show. Was really neat with the 2 drummers. I have the live DVD from that show. I agree that they enjoy pushing boundaries and aren't afraid to make you feel a little uncomfortable.

I think an amazing live show on a consistent basis prophesies a successful future on a wider scale.

The Congregation album is their last heavy / experimental album before going more mainstream. If you want more pushing the boundary music of theirs go backwards in their catalog from the Congregation.
