I first heard Ghost Riders on my mother's 78 record, yes this was over 5 decades ago. It was sung by Johnny Cash. Then I heard a husky voiced female piano player sing it on Mackinaw Island in the early 1980's. I will never forget her, she saw me walk in and would dedicate the song to me. Thanks to you, I too will never ever think of this song the same way again. 🤣🤣🤣

This is one awesome parody! Leroy Troy is a genius. Few people realize how hard it is to write a good comedic song. Leroy knocked this one out of the park. I played it Atlanta last spring for a crowd who just fell apart with laughter. They had never heard it before, so I got a chance to do a little promo for Leroy. I hope to see him perform someday as I live up the road in Bowling Green.

My dad played banjo like Leroy Troy. Here in Tennessee we call it "Mountain Banjo". This is hilarious! It takes some skill to change the lyrics of a song and have them fit so well. Makes me think of all the other talented country singing parodists whom I appreciate greatly. Leroy Troy is another great one.

Last time I went through the local drive through, johnny Cash, singing "Ghost Riders In The Sky"started playing on the radio, and I cracked up so much, I whacked the door mirror on the serving hatch because the tears in my eyes affected my vision so much! Everyone in the car looked at me in disbelief, wondering what was so funny. I just couldn't believe the coincidence of the song being played exactly at that moment. 🤣🤣🤣😎😎😎

I Do...Ever since I discovered it. When I was a kid about 9, I stayed a week at my uncle's house who had a wind up record player. One of the few records he had (an old 78) was the original version of 'Ghost Riders in the Sky, which I soon knew by heart. However, this is a really funny version of it....wonder what the original writer would think? (I am now 81)
