People put way to much emphasis on slide to frame fit with regard to side to side play. A small amount doesn't negatively affect accuracy. Up and down play is what you should be concerned with because that is what can cause the barrel to not lock up consistently.

Fortunately, my Dan Wesson Valor V-Bob is so tight, that I only notice the oil squeezing through when I check the side fitment. The only rattle is from the grip safety, on the entire gun. I’ll count myself blessed, I’m quite happy with it.

That Dan Wesson is just an over priced production... My Springfield range officer elite Champion doesn't make a sound, it's so tight and accurate you'd think it was a custom! Love it!! Group sizing is nearly the same size as these high end pistols and it only cost $800.. it does have a 6 o'clock hold why some claim it shoots high
