Hi Jane, It was the driest summer for many years, many villages have beautiful fountains which had been turned off to conserve water 💦 The temperature was very high on this day too. Oh yes! Plenty of water is needed when the temperatures are high and the landscape so dry. It is one of the reasons that we do have gentle cuts in the footage, to take on some water, especially if the walk will take a few hours to film. Thank you for your comment 😊

Hi, thank you so much for your lovely comments and constructive tips. Its great to get this sort of feedback, it helps us grow. The captions, we will try and make them longer so you have more time to read them. The breaks or cuts are occassionally there to hide my having to stop and catch my breath. I was the victim of a violent unprovocked attack a few years ago, which left me with severe neck injuries and permanent nerve damage, following multiple surguries. This means I a have severe chronic pain 24/7. Sometimes I have to stop for a few minutes, to cope with the pain then carry on. It’s not the best situation but i make the best of it I can. It’s kind of a hidden disability many people have, so I consider myself lucky to be able to still create these walking tours for our lovely veiwers. My long term prognosis indicated I may ultimately need a wheelchair but fortunately, thus far, I have kept going and find ways to cope with the often unbearable pain. I will try to keep the cuts to a minimum as much a possible;) thank you, have a great weekend ❤️👍😀
