Les, I am a former Christian of 13 years, two years as a deacon in church and in the Christian music industry. You spoke well. I just want to say thank you so much for the work of you and the group. All of you helped me through dark times. It really was a let down after all the bands I worked with I didn't get to meet with you.

Les, i'm so sorry for the loss of your son. I wasn't aware of it until today. I'm a big Bloodgood Fan or better said i was, when i was around twenty years of age. It's good to hear that your son was saved. That can make you sure to meet your son on the backstage again. Thanks for preaching the most important message of Jesus Christ to our world. Keep on doing the good work. God bless you and greets from Switzerland

Tough to lose a loved one, but Les you handled it like I wish I could have when my born again twin sister died Hurt for about a year and now think she is hanging out with Christ which is what they both wanted. I did her eulogy and talked about all the good things she had done and was an agnostic at the time. Said I hoped she was in heaven if there was one

this video kept popping up on my KZbin selections and I kept skipping it believing that it would be very shallow and full of small talk and cliches. This man, very clearly loves the Lord and believes in Jesus Christ fully. he did not speak in generalities, he pointed directly to Jesus.

wow..I acted exatly the same on Aug. 23rd, 2016 when I arrived from LA to Sumperk in Czechia to see my Dad unconscious and brain dead in a hospital prepared to raise him from the dead... and then I realized how selfish and why would he want to come back to this world full of difficulties and challenges...no rest...,. so I let him go...

I'm so glad he isn't grieving. As Christians we really should not grieve over a death of a brother but instead celebrate it. Once they're up with Christ in paradise we should be saying "OH take me take me!" Instead of "Come back, come back!" Hahaha. Bless you man!

I am surprised he hasn't explored the subject of loss in Bloodgood's lyrics. I had seen the memorial page on facebook. I don't know how to give my deepest condolences as death is something that invokes questioning faith and getting pissed at God. Loss from death is the most common subject matter in doom, Gothic, Funeral Doom and death-doom metal. Christianity is an open thing in doom metal as two of Trouble's members were devote Christians.
