My father died in 2001 before my 15th birthday. I had my first dream with him on my bday, his funeral was the very next day. He was comforting me, letting me know everything will be ok. I have communicated with my dad in my dreams since then. I haven’t had any dreams with him lately but I believe this is his soul reaching out and it brings me much peace❤️ now, my mother is battling cancer and i am so afraid to lose her. Im afraid to feel this loss again. This channel is so very helpful ☀️

Our hearts go out to you, Ivette. Your post illustrates the real paradox of both the pain of loss, and the comfort of continued connection after death. It warms our heart that you find the ideas on our channel to be truly helpful. May the experience of peace about your father carry you through the sorrow of your mother's departure -- you can look forward to the peace of continued connection with her too, eventually. Perhaps you've already seen this, but just in case, here's our show called "Will We See Our Loved Ones in the Afterlife?" -- youtu.be/ 9gdngWOvKas Prayers to you as you see your mother through her journey with cancer, and may you be fully conscious of the blessing of each day she is still here with you. Sorry Ivette, I hope all is well. My best friend died unexpectedly in an automobile accident. We were all out looking for him for a couple days, when someone found him dead in a creek after veering off the road and somehow, crashed through the smallest little gap in a guard rail in our central PA area...something only my best friend could do, and he had been in the water for a couple days by that point. A few nights after he died, but before the funeral, he came to me in a dream, and it was him, not my construct of him, but it was really him, saying things and being cocky, just as he was in life. I asked him what it was like, and he said 'It's awesome, but I'm not gonna tell you about it, bc you'll experience it one day yourself.' It really makes me feel at peace, knowing that he is in a great place, and that I don't have to fear death. I'm so glad that he came to visit. It was only the one time, but I imagine that's bc he is living his best existence, or maybe he wanted to jump right back into another go...

Someone that I loved more than myself committed suicide in 2017. I still can't cope. He was agnostic the last I heard. Life is so painful now I just want to die. I keep in mind that God didn't call everyone in the spirit in this life. So I'm hoping that at some point that EVERYONE will get that chance at some point. Surely God wouldn't create people and not give them a chance to make it to heaven.

@@ronniedrake8196 the Bible definitely says that! On this channel, we share the theological works of Swedish scientist Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), a Bible scholar and devout Christian. Swedenborg began having visions of Jesus Christ and devoted the last almost thirty years of his life to recording what he learned in many volumes - one of the most incredible of his ideas is that the Bible is written in parable, something the Bible actually tells us many times! Here are a few examples: ‘Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. Who among you will give a stone if his son asks him for bread? If then you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in the heavens give good things to those who ask him?” (Matthew 7:7-11) “All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them.” -Matthew 13:34 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” -John 16:25 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (John 16:12). “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” (John 3:12). If you would like to learn more about how Swedenborg read and understood the Bible (what it meant to him) check out our episode, "What the Bible Is," kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGHQdmt_ebGspKc , or this short clip, "It Is Damaging To Take The Bible Literally," kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4m4iY1ud86aes0 If you'd be at all interested in hearing how the ideas in this show are grounded in the Bible, I recommend the recorded episodes of this Bible study: www.spiritandlifebiblestudy.com/ If you'd like to hear what we believe "the dead know nothing" means spiritually, check out either of these episodes: Short: "What Does the Bible Mean by 'The Dead Know Nothing?'" kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn-0f6WHedSZfbs Long: "Why Does the Bible Say 'The Dead Know Nothing'?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHixq6Clm7qhrq8 We share this information for anyone who is interested, but we also respect that everyone is on their own spiritual path, and in their own relationship with the Word and with God. We respect your right to decide for yourself whether to accept what Swedenborg learned, or not. Thank you for sharing your perspective on all this, and we are wishing you well. God bless!

@@offTheLeftEye hey I want to tell you about an experience that I interview with an near-death experience Survivor was very unique and very different. I met the Spanish woman in a Tacoma Fred Meyers and Tacoma Washington. I somehow brought up about near death experiences with her I don't know why but I did. She looked back and forth she didn't want people to listen to what she was saying to me. Very conservative woman and she says in a exasperated voice, I have not told this to my relatives or my friends or anybody but when I was in the operating room, I saw this nurse in the operating room. I asked her to come over. She said to her, I am so worried about my husband and my children do you know anything about them or where are they at? Obviously a regular everyday nurse would not know that information. In this case she said, the nurse said your husband and your children are fine. Your husband is cooking dinner in the kitchen and your kids are playing in the living room. So the Spanish woman looked me in the face with exasperation and she said, how did she know that! And I asked her did her lips move when she was communicating this information to you. And she said no! They were not moving. I told her that our events on this Earthly plane are constantly monitored and recorded in the afterlife. Jesus said this thing that blew me away and she said she was wearing a dress. And she was also wearing a white hat on top of her head with a large Red Cross! And I thought to myself holy crap! Here we are 2021 and recently had surgery and she's talking about a nurse wearing a nurse's uniform from the early 1900s. What do you make of this?

Here is a quote from True Christianity 56. "God cannot turn away from us or even look at us with a frown. To do any such thing would be against his essence, and what is against his essence is against himself." You are right that God continues to give us freedom, and longs for our happiness above all. Perhaps you know that the most frequent command in the bible is "do not fear." God wants you to feel safe in his love! Take care, Cam.

God absolutely loves everyone, and wants them to be happy. He also asks us not to judge one another, and that keeps me honest. “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." Matthew 7 Working on my own mistakes keeps me busy. God will take perfect care of other people, and I can treat them with respect in the meantime. Take care Cam.

Check her out on KZbin or you can Google her name: Louise Tobin Hucko. She is a healthy 102 years old as of 11/11/20. I have been asking myself, why is she still here? All 10 of her siblings are gone. All but a few friends still come to visit. She still gets many calls from all over the world. Her last gig was in her early 80s. She and her husband, Jazz clarinetist, Michael Hucko, performed for Princess Diana & Prince Charles just before that. You might enjoy her songs too🎤 I am always praying that when her time comes, the good lord takes her when she is sleeping. She is strong minded, but her little body is weakening more each day. I don't understand Gods purpose for us at such an age where you need to have help to survive. I tell her she is here to see the next Presidential election...lol.

(I have it cued to this part of the episode, but the whole thing is worth a watch!). kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWSpl4OHqMuSsLc Here is what Swedenborg wrote about why we die when we do: "There are four reasons why people die as children, adolescents, adults, or old men and women: 1. on account of their use to people when in the world; 2. on account of their use to spirits and angels when in the world, because a person is with spirits as to his or her inward elements and is there with them as long as he or she is in the world; 3. on account of the use to themselves in the world, either so that they may be regenerated, or so that they may be let into their own evils lest they lie as it were asleep and later erupt, which would result in the person’s eternal ruin; 4. thus on account of the subsequent usefulness in the other life, after death and to eternity . . ."(Spiritual Experiences §5003) I hope that's useful to you! And I hope you and your grandmother are doing well!

My late husband passed away in June of 2015. He had both legs amputated...the last leg was on our wedding anniversary June 17th. He passed away June 27th..ten days later...but before he died....all his children were there...brothers and sisters...him and I had our last conversation on June17th....as they took the tube out of his throat...his eyes opened and he became alert and he started looking around the hospital room. I was on the right side of his bed... holding his hand. He look towards the left ...then everyone said....he's looking for you Janice. Once he saw me? He smiled...tears came to his eyes and he immediately went to sleep with a smile. I believe there is a God that sits high and looks down low. I wanna see Jesus someday.

Bella Bijou Exactly ..i left my body in 1982...hovered above it ,and felt myself being " pulled" up a tunnel which had a BEAUTIFUL white light light in it ..there is much more to my very real experience...but I can say I did NOT want to come back here to Earth..and I told them so.I believe it is THE most important thing that those of us who have experienced this should tell others. However, I have found, that it is almost impossible to get others to understand this properly. In my case it was not due to an accident/operation , as it is with so many people . Never, never , allow others to get you to Believe that it's all our imagination. It is not! We are not these bodies! We're just wearing a meat suit' !

I just found you guys and Swedenborg and all I can say is I knew it! I've been looking for answers for years. I will read everything I possibly can and watch all of your videos. Thank you a MILLION times for offering them at no cost. I take care of my 88 year old grandmother and I home school my 11 year old son. I don't work a job for which I earn money and can't afford much. I study and learn all I can on the computer to be self educated. I don't have a college education, however, I can probably give a college graduate or two a run for their money. LOL! I am Christian believer, however, my beliefs are not what most believe. I do currently study A Course In Miracles along with practicing unconditional love for everyone who enters into my life and even those who I feel led to help by perhaps entering into theirs....I feel as if I have found a huge piece to a puzzle I have been working since a child. I've always had more questions than anyone at church could answer as a child and teenager. Then in 2001 with me in my early 20's, a newlywed with a 2 year old daughter, my Mother was brutally murdered by her husband. I had 2 younger sisters by my Mother who were 8 & 9 to raise at that point. 2 years later my Maternal Grandfather who raised me died of a broken heart literally. His heart stopped working. 3 years later in 2006 my sister Emily (the 9 year old ) died in a car wreck 8 days after her 16th birthday. I also had 2 siblings by my Dad a brother & sister, and it was then in 2009 one of my other sisters Jessica (from my Dad) died at 23 with two separate entities of cancer in her precious body. Married with two babies, diagnosed in Sept. and by Jan. 2nd of 2009 she was just gone.... So yes I had many many questions....I Know and have always known that I will see them again one day. This led me to the Near death videos and the stories of thousands which I've read. Dr. Eben Alexander actually was a Dr. here in the town I live in AT the hospital we ALL were born in. I felt that was a sign for me. Maybe, I'll find out one day. I can't express the relief & joy I have in finding you! I love God & I can't wait to see all of my loved ones and further my education of Loving people & helping others. May God Bless You All!!! Namaste, Melanie

Wonderful information on which many unanswered questions and doubts are put to rest .So who was meant to be our soulmates in this physical body would be met in our spiritual body on earth also as spirits is it .? How can one love and be so aligned to another soul when they are not physically together here. We feel their presence ,and know that they belonged sometime in our past life to know their true nature Are there any explanations when their emotions of wanting to be with each belong to the spirit world as natural as it seems .? .Knowing them as if they have lived together Mind vs mind ,heart vs heart . Yet far apart and no contact physically.

I needed to watch this. Thank you so much. I lost my mom 7 months ago due to a heart attack. Covid made her funeral inhumane. We were not allowed in the church. The service was held at her graveside. We were not allowed to close the grave. The escavator driver were no where to he found.. we had to leave her graveside open like a gaping hole were death would swallow you alive. I cant get over her passing. I speak to our Lord on a daily basis. Its hard to reach out for help. I cant tell my family Im struggling as Im a new born child of God. This gave me so much closure. As a 40 year old woman, mom of 4... i miss my mommy so so much!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could say goodbye and stop seeing her open grave when I close my eyes. She was worth so much more.

Oh Janine, I'm so so sorry for that deeply unsatisfying and even disturbing funeral. That's so unfair. Melissa here - my grandfather died of COVID last March, and only one family member got to say goodbye to him - in a hazmat suit. It was a small service with only his kids (not even the cousins!), especially since it was in the very beginning of quarantine. It was not what we hoped for at all. It would be even harder if it was a parent and not a grandparent! It is never easy to say goodbye, and not having the right closure just adds to the grief. I have found tremendous comfort thinking of my grandfather, moving into the spiritual world without family at his bedside, from this episode about how angels care for us and help us transition. It makes me feel that he was not alone at all - and probably wouldn't hold those difficult circumstances against us! “How Angels Take Care of Us When We Die” kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6PRnGpoq61qjdU Here are some other episodes about the afterlife, that may give you some comfort about what your beloved mom is up to now: "What the Afterlife Feels Like," kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZy9e6B6Z8l3j8U "What Does It Feel Like to Die?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/noi4YYN3YrV3etE "Will Life Be Different When You Die?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2eacoh7nsZ5e5I "Will Your Body Look The Same When You Die?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/gImcc5SDp5yIr7c “What Happens To Your Mind When You Die?” kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIOqcnSDnpyqpbc "Why Don't Those Who've Died Communicate With Us More?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zp65mnRrp7R5a6c "Will We See Our Loved Ones in the Afterlife?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5jHn5qNhNt-l9U “5 Reunions in the Afterlife” kzbin.info/www/bejne/raG6o6etod6pe5I I also imagine that the upsetting image of the open grave is a distraction from all the wonderful, joyful memories of your mom. I pray that this image stops haunting you, and you find it soon replaced with an image of her at peace, filled with love! Sending love to you and peace, as you navigate this difficult time in your life!

Hayley, I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. And while I can't imagine the pain you must feel, I can at least offer some of the fundamentals Swedenborg observed: love transcends time and space -- you and your husband will reunite in the afterlife because of the love you share. The Lord desires that each of us live into eternity with our true loves, growing closer in partnership with them and with the Lord. Your husband is okay, and his love for you will not go away. That's when I became a born-again Christian. I have belonged to a few other churches since then, but none ever felt as right. Unfortunately, there have been no Swedenborg churches near me except one, and the minister there said he didn't teach Swedenborg's teachings even though it was a Swedenborg beliefs church. God is Love, Forgiveness, Patience, Mercy, and everything else good. How could pure love penalize someone for ignorance? How could pure love throw away any of his children just because they didn't know one particular set of information? That doesn't sound like a truly Divine Creator to me. Wonderful video. All I know is that I long to go home. And home is where my Heavenly Father is. But it's not my time. So I continue on, doing my best to fulfill my purpose for being here. So many people I love and miss have crossed over. Sometimes I feel so alone here. It's difficult at times, but the Lord is with me. And I am comforted.

I didn’t believe in any of this stuff until my deceased uncle (one of my best friends in life) came to visit me in a dream...he told me a lot of stuff covered in this video. He also looked younger than in life. We were in a sort of “waiting room” with big windows overlooking a panoramic view of a beautiful outdoor setting. My deceased mom was sitting in the room with us, not saying anything, but smiling and full of bliss, looking happier than I have ever seen her in life. I was able to ask him questions and he patiently answered them all. One question I had was: “is there such thing as hell?” And he said no. I jokingly asked him about my dead musical idols (Jimi Hendrix, etc) and he told me that they were there too, but that they weren’t playing the “rock star role” where they were... It was such a strange dream, don’t know if it was real, but it certainly felt like it.

Sorry, but hell IS absolutely real. God is not a liar. He addresses the reality of hell many times, for example; "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8 NIV) What is 'fiery lake of burning sulfur' mean? It means, 'hell'. It's ALSO the place where those who don't belong to Christ go, as well as satan, his fallen angels, 'death' and 'hades', (the temporary waiting/holding pond for those who are dead, or who die before the day of judgement). Jesus said, "“There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ “ ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ” (Luke 16:19‭-‬31 NIV) Jesus is not a liar, as God cannot lie. He's WARNING us of what's to come for those who choose self, or worldly ways, over God's ways, which means; surrendering ourselves to serve God. The apostle John was given a 'Revelation' to experience AND to write the experience down as a forecoming WARNING to those who reject God. "Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:11‭-‬15 NIV) Anything that is written, or explained that is contrary to the Word of God, is NOT of God and is therefore FALSE, (a LIE) and is designed to cause CONFUSION from satan and those who belong to him. DON'T FALL FOR THE LIES OF SATAN!!! This video is FALSE! There's only ONE WAY to heaven and THAT is through Jesus Christ ONLY! There's NO OTHER WAY! Satan will try to trick us by pretending to be good, when he is NOT. "For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve." (2 Corinthians 11:13‭-‬15 NIV)

@@glenturney4750 I respect your beliefs, but I don’t agree that a God of pure love could be described as an all loving benevolent God, if he created a person with the knowledge that their souls were already condemned to burn in such a place. I prefer to think of God as a creator, not a destroyer. Keep in mind that Revelations was an account of a dream someone had. I too had a dream, so why was his dream taken seriously over anyone else’s dream? Is it just because it was included in the Bible? If that’s the test, then why were books removed from the Bible during various epochs, by random popes, etc? Which version of the Bible are we even talking about, because different versions of the Bible are worded differently, not to mention interpreted differently. Which part of the Bible do we interpret literally, and which is meant as a metaphor or parable? I can find plenty of biblical scholars with a simple search that can argue that the Bible doesn’t actually preach the gospel of hell’s existence
@offTheLeftEye

@@nomandad2000 I sure agree with you that a loving God wouldn't create a hell and send people there! Swedenborg learned that the Bible is a book of divine allegory and parable. It is not supposed to be taken literally. That causes all sorts of problems, as we discuss in our episode "It Is Damaging to Take the Bible Literally" kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWOrfpiCi8yFf5Y You might find it interesting to delve into our episodes about the deeper meanings in the book of Revelation! Regarding hell, Swedenborg witnessed that there is such a thing, but it is a place created by human hatred rather than by God. Hell is a state of mind in which a person refuses to let go of hatred, vengefulness, greed, hostility, self-centeredness, etc. God is constantly working to encourage people to let go of those things and let kindness and compassion to flow in, but also, God will not force people to be good. We must be left in freedom to choose, because goodness and love are not real unless they are freely chosen. Even in hell, God is constantly working to lead people in a better direction, but it can only go at the rate of each person's willingness. If you are interested in a very different take on what hell is, check out our episode "What Is Hell Really Like?" and see if any of that makes sense to you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYmmgGSGa9dggdk

@@marymaher4036 I'm sorry for those you have lost! We believe they live on, in the other world, and if you're interested in some of what Swedenborg learned about that, I have lots of episodes for you to check out! Swedenborg believed death is merely a transition - a rebirth into a new world, where we are more fully ourselves and continue to live and work and play and love just as we did in this world! He wrote: “When someone’s body can no longer perform its functions in the natural world in response to the thoughts and affections of its spirit (which it derives from the spiritual world), then we say that the individual has died. This happens when the lungs’ breathing and the heart’s systolic motion have ceased. The person, though, has not died at all. We are only separated from the physical nature that was useful to us in the world. The essential person is actually still alive. I say that the essential person is still alive because we are not people because of our bodies but because of our spirits. After all, it is the spirit within us that thinks, and thought and affection together make us the people we are. We can see, then, that when we die we simply move from one world into another.” (Heaven and Hell §445) Short clips: "What Are Heaven & Hell?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXTMq4KJitxpr9k "What The Afterlife Is Like" kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmO2hoafmKtmrpI "Angel Visits Grieving Father," kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGGyZGObrahja7s “What Does the Veil Between Worlds Consist of?” kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5m6p2N5n8iNe6M "You Still Have A Body After Death" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYu7ZXibjdiioMk “What Dying Feels Like” kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWe3anZ8ZcZog5I “How Will We Recognize Our Loved Ones In The Afterlife?” kzbin.info/www/bejne/oabalpKgaZKYfac Full Episodes: "What the Afterlife Feels Like," kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZy9e6B6Z8l3j8U "What Does It Feel Like to Die?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/noi4YYN3YrV3etE "Will Life Be Different When You Die?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2eacoh7nsZ5e5I "Will Your Body Look The Same When You Die?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/gImcc5SDp5yIr7c “What Happens To Your Mind When You Die?” kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIOqcnSDnpyqpbc "Will We See Our Loved Ones in the Afterlife?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5jHn5qNhNt-l9U “5 Reunions in the Afterlife” kzbin.info/www/bejne/raG6o6etod6pe5I “How Angels Take Care of Us When We Die” kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6PRnGpoq61qjdU “A Day In The Life Of An Angel” kzbin.info/www/bejne/emSlnoOjbKmDrJI "The Purpose of Death" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZ7HY6Rnd7Gln68 I know it's a lot, we have a big library of content! This video has been one of many that I have personally watched for over a month and a half now. My beautiful wife Heidi sadly passed away on March 29th, 2021. Her father died ten days prior on March 19th, 2021. The local hospital had diagnosed my beloved wife with conversion disorder after her father had passed. I believe that other "underlying" stress and trauma contributed to her passing. I was with Heidi when she passed away to go to Heaven to be with Jesus. Heidi was full of life and laughter in this world, and we both agreed that we were each other's soulmates. I fully agree that God does put people in each other's lives for a very GOOD REASON. Obviously, our daughter Samantha and I really miss Heidi tremendously. Literally ALL FAMILY and friends, who knew and loved Heidi always will feel this way. Several encouraging and enlightening events have happened since Heidi passed away to Heaven. I know that within my heart and soul that Heidi and I will be reunited once again in God's AWESOME KINGDOM OF HEAVEN! It is mentioned within the scripture of The Holy Bible, that when our physical bodies die and our souls/spirits depart into the "NEW-LIFE", that we are in fact reunited with all of our loved ones who preceded us in death on earth. I constantly communicate with my daughter, and other family members, with how much I deeply love and care for each and every one of them. I pray that All of my loved ones, as well as myself will ALL BE REUNITED TOGETHER IN GOD'S KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. AMEN.

Right now, your mother is getting help to break free from all that torment, and be healed and guided toward more and more happiness. Your love and efforts will have played a HUGE role in helping her during her final stage on Earth. Small actions of love mean more than you know, and when you cross over your mom, and God, can show you how much good you did -- what an impact your efforts made. My dear wife love of my life just passed away three months ago and I thought I was gonna lose my mind. Even if these videos are not true, and I really hope they are, they gave a little bit of hope and comfort and the pain became a little bit easier to bear. I really hope to God, Swedenborg and gang are right.

Dear Juan, I am so sorry for the loss of your wife. Three months without the love of your life, after years of physical closeness, must be deeply painful. You are not alone in your grief, and I am so glad you felt moved to share with us a window into your personal experience. What you wrote will help others in your same situation! As for Swedenborg, I am so glad to hear that his ideas about the afterlife have lifted your spirit. That is exactly why we're interested in sharing them! Each of us needs nourishment for our bodies, but what's more, we need spiritual food in order to keep going through the rough times. I wonder if this clip might offer you something appealing in this very tender time you're going through. It's called, "What Dying Feels Like." kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWe3anZ8ZcZog5I And here's another video, if you'd like a heartier introduction to Swedenborg's Heaven and Hell: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHuzh6p5epmlhaM Feel free to disregard the second link if books and reading are the last thing on your mind! I included it because I thought it might quench your thirst for ideas about the afterlife. Wishing you peace, comfort, and spiritual discovery as you go about the next chapter of your life! Blessings, Juan!

This video doesn't tell the truth! This is my best friend's story. Precious Memories- By Sonya Lakey We had no idea that the evening of September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our oldest son played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for him (which he usually did for himself) for the church hike he was going on the following day. My mom, who was visiting from out of state, and I got up early with him on Saturday morning to hug him and see him off. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own. As he pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mom and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw our 16 year old son. He did not make it home that night. That afternoon, a friend had tried to contact us, leaving a message on the phone to call back due to an emergency, but we really had no clue what was going on. And though we tried several times to return the call, we were not able to make a connection. As I helped prepare supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan and dread filled my heart, and I quietly blinked back tears. I looked out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pulling in, but no. However, within minutes, a police car DID pull in our driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst, but I went outside to speak with him. He confirmed who I and my husband (who followed me out) were, then hesitantly told us our son had fallen off a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed.... Still are. Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, we have such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son again. You see, even as a young boy, Ethan realized some very important truths from God's Word. He had sinned against a righteous, holy and just God. The Bible says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12) He understood that his sin separated him from God, and he deserved to spend eternity in Hell. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) He understood he could not pay the price for his sins. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Ethan realized that, 'though he could not pay the price for his sins, the price had already been paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life. He had no fault of His own. But Jesus was crucified for our sins, and He took on Himself the sins of every person in the whole world. He was beaten, spit on, whipped, mocked, scourged, and nailed to the Cross of Calvary. He shed every drop of His righteous blood - because that was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous God - so we could be made righteous in Him. He suffered all of that so Ethan - and you and I - would not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, but so we could spend eternity in Heaven with HIM! THAT is a great LOVE. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) Jesus did not stay on the cross, nor did He stay in the tomb where His body was buried. Three days later, Jesus arose triumphant over sin and death and the grave. Ethan believed this with his whole heart, asked Jesus to forgive his sins, and he put his faith in Jesus Christ ALONE to save him from sin and eternal death and to take him to Heaven someday. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28) Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus and others. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. We know he is alive in Heaven with Jesus today, and we know we will see him again soon, not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour! What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day? Would your family, though grieving, be able to rejoice in the knowledge that they would see you again in Heaven, or would you be burning in Hell today? The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) Have YOU trusted Jesus as YOUR Saviour? Have you repented of your sins? Have you asked Jesus to forgive you so you can go to Heaven & not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire? Tomorrow may be too late. As Ethan pulled out of sight that morning, we had no idea we would never see him again in this life. None of us have the promise of tomorrow! Repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus alone - today! “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2) "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14

JC, Growing up, I never feared death. I grew up in a funeral home since the age of 8. I love visiting cemeteries, especially those with history as I get a sense of calmness. 8 months ago, I was told I had 5 to 7.5 months to live. Hearing this scared me. I began to fear death. A few weeks ago, I heard a deep voice that said "Fear not I, something something" and have been filled with calmness ever since. I no longer fear it. I keep hearing and seeing the signs. Do not fear death my friend!

This was a powerful episode. It’s all about the ❤️ love. .......Once your happy, you WANT to do good things. You CARE about others. But when when your on the earth, under the force of SIN, things like heredity, bad treatment, being misled, causes a lot of confusion, hatred , anger and pain. You can be basically someone whom you don’t wish to be here on the earth. But if this is a source of learning, I suppose it would be needed to further your development in the spirit world. 👍🏻❤️🙏🙂

I am 58yrs old. At age 16 I took an overdose of sleeping pills. I remember as if it was yesterday, being very high in what seemed to be the air, looking down at a sheet covered body in a basement morgue; that body was me. I saw Two nurses, one a matron, wearing the larger white triangle type hat, and a younger nurse with her. I then felt a presence next to me, a warm loving presence, yet I could not actually see anyone. Although no words were spoken, I heard the words , "it's not your time yet", then felt a kiss on my cheek. Suddenly I rose up, the sheet falling off my face to my chest, both nurses who I'm sure wheeled me into that room, went pale white, mouths agape..matron a few seconds later asked what my name was, i said Julie, (my name isn't Julie btw lol)... I grabbed the sheet, jumped off a steel gurnie and said " I'm going home" and walked out....I had no home, I was homeless. I knew when I left there (hospital), that I didn't really want to die, I had something to do, but had no idea what it was. I told people about my experience, kids on the sts taking drugs, as a way to stop them from taking them and or taking so many. That presence I called 'someone', but inside I knew who it was. Everywhere I went from that day, jehovah witnesses, Morman's, Christians would all stop me, ask if they could help etc...I'd run the other way lol....but they kept coming, as if chasing me. I got a job, not the best to have, but it put a roof over my head, and I started getting young girls, runaways off the sts, hear their story and would get them to go home where they were safer, by telling them my story and why I could not go home. I married, had children and was born again, age 30. Age 33, I was again taking in kids off the sts, divorced and raising five kids....I've had nearly 200 kids..ohh Abraham!..and still I'm taking little children under my wing...just received two more down the crt 2weeks ago... I am never childless, yet I have no grandchildren as yet. I was also given a spiritual gift of 'foresight' .. you will know what I'm saying. This is a short version of my testimony with Jesus, his blessings and unconditional love.

This is so real. I came out my body some years ago and soared up towards the heavens. I flew through the galaxy and at the corner was a beautiful white light. I entered a tunnel of clouds and 2 giant beautiful angels pushed passed me and spoke to my heart and said, come on let's go. I was the happiest I ever been. I can't explain how happy I was. I questioned God and asked him if I died and if so who was gonna take care of my mom and kids. Immediately I was back in my body. It was a struggle to breathe and move but I did. @@janewanjiruk7752 I hear you! Our approach is different, and you have to decide if it resonates as true for you, or not! Here's a little background on what we share, and why we share it! I hope it is helpful! On this channel we share information written down by Swedish scientist turned theologian, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), which he learned through 27 years of direct experiences of seeing into the afterlife. Everyone is free to decide whether to believe that information or not. He was a devout reader of the Bible, and believed his works were showing the rest of us what he learned to be the inner meanings contained in scripture! The Bible tells us it contains an inner meaning, and here are some quotes that indicate this: “All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them.” -Matthew 13:34 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” -John 16:25 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (John 16:12). “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” (John 3:12). “To you it’s been given to know the mysteries of God’s kingdom, but to the rest, in parables, so that seeing, they would not see, and hearing, they would not hear” (Luke 8:10) “Our competence is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:5-6) “Give ear, my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old” (Psalm 78:1-2). If you would like to learn more about how Swedenborg read and understood the Bible (what it meant to him) check out our episode, "What the Bible Is," kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGHQdmt_ebGspKc , or this short clip, "It Is Damaging To Take The Bible Literally," kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4m4iY1ud86aes0 If you'd be at all interested in hearing how the ideas in this show are grounded in the Bible, I recommend the recorded episodes of this Bible study: www.spiritandlifebiblestudy.com/ And, if you’re wondering whether Swedenborg would be useful in your life, check out this blog post: “Why Read Swedenborg? We respect your right to decide for yourself whether to accept what Swedenborg learned, or not. Thank you for sharing your perspective on all this, and we are wishing you well. God bless!

@Paul Suchey I think Matthew 25:31-46 is a wonderful parable for bringing clarity to this. By choosing to either help the neighbor, or to ignore the needs of our neighbors, we are choosing throughout our whole lives whether we want to be connected to God and heaven, or not. Because God IS love of the whole human race, and heaven is the reception of that. So, after death, the inner choice of our heart is revealed, as expressed through our deeds and motivations throughout our whole life on earth. God wants to bring everyone into heaven. God loves every single person, and like any loving parent, could never ever choose to reject a beloved child or send that child away. But heaven is a state of selfless neighborly love, and so we are the ones who choose whether to accept the invitation to that state of being, or not. The story of the prodigal son is another great parable about this (Luke 15:11-32). In that story, it is the son who chose to leave, and then the son who later chose to come back to his father. The father had always wanted his son to come home and be with him. Jesus, and the Bible, use parable to tell us about how things are in life and the afterlife.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, Debra Jean. You must be in pain, having loved your dad like you did. I am glad to know, though, that you are in touch with him still! It is the truth, according to Emanuel Swedenborg, that our spirits never die. A spirit (a person) is defined by what she or he loves. And if we love the same things that others do, we are linked to these people forever! That means you will reunite in the spiritual world, when it's your time to enter the afterlife. What I'm sharing now is based on the ideas recorded by eighteenth-century spiritual teacher Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772). Swedenborg was a brilliant and accomplished scientist who also had a strong background in the Christian faith. In his mid-50s, he went through an intense period of self-examination, repentance, prayer and Bible study, after which he began to see spiritual visions, and then had a powerful vision of Jesus Christ. Christ called him to a mission of learning about the afterlife and about the deeper meanings in Scripture, because the time had finally come that Jesus had predicted, when more information would be revealed. Using his scientific skills, Swedenborg meticuolously recorded what he witnessed and learned in the visions that happened daily for about 27 years. We want everyone to decide for themselves whether to believe this information from Swedenborg's books or not, but we find it to be healing information that makes sense out of life and the Bible, and so we want to share it with everyone who is interested. For more information about Swedenborg and his credentials, see the following: "Who Was Swedenborg?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnbEYZhudsiGbZo "Was Swedenborg Crazy?" kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZC9gWZmg6uMnJo "Splendors of the Spirit: Swedenborg's Quest for Insight" kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJXdlnmBnZ6SepY "How to Feel the Presence of Angels" kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioGyfJunpNybhqc

My dad passed at 92, but months later he visited me and was the young, handsome man he once been. He sat on the edge of my bed and told me to tell the rest of my family that he was fine and happy and not to worry about him. Up until that point, he had sent me many signs, but after that visit, I think he is comfortably at home in heaven now, because those signs are fewer.

What an experience, Patricia! Thank you for sharing! You sound reassured by his visit and by his less frequent contact following the visit. That certainly lines up with Swedenborg's take on what happens in the afterlife: we all continue to live! Your dad is very likely engaged with the useful, joy-filled activities to which he is uniquely suited!

I drowned when I was 13. It was a horrific death and nothing but terror and once the realization occurred that I'm not going to make it...I opened my mouth to get it over with. I slowly floated down into the dark depths and it was like someone turned on all the lights and then something was embracing me...I felt such an overwhelming love...nothing here on earth is capable of this...it was so strong. I could not see anything....I just felt everything. Then I was back in my body...I was pulled out of the water.
