Mike D is the man. Last time I saw him he said "Ohh heyyy whats up mannn??" and came in for the hug...effectively drenching me in his sweat after a Hairy Apes BMX show. Good times. Love it when he busts out the rounded brass pot for some wacky hand scrubbing sounds, scrubbing in tune while killing it like a guitar solo.

The guy is insane and I by no means am a musician, but its is clear for someone like myself to recognise the rate his left fingers move to perfectly execute those notes is something only few can do. I discovered this guy due to South Park. Most underrated musician there is!

One of the most incredible bassists I've ever listened to and seen. Almost incomprehensible how he does this. The way he and the other musicians can play off of each other - like the zylaphone player - reminds me of Ravi Shankar and those he played with - just really top tier musicianship!

Vibraphone actually...I only correct because that's all Mike usually plays outside of various drums. I've had the good fortune to meet almost all those guys on the stage. Mike Dillon is one of the very few Vibraphone players you'll ever find. When he and Skerik tear it up together....it's something special. Skerik is also in Frog Brigade but was not on this tour.

Les Claypool is the only musician I would ever be able to identify by his walking alone. If he were dressed in a gorilla costume completely obscuring his entire body and not even playing a bass, I'd be able to identify him by his weird, slow knee-walking-dancing thing he always does.

as a man who love Jaco Pastorius with his Jazz, where as i can't understand how anyone can find his jazzy play "messy" as it is the cleanest jazz ever. This... for me alot of this was just alot of random messy noise, but even tho i can still tell it's tight. Maybe this is how people who dont understand Jazz, hears "the chicken" of Jaco Pastorius, and tells me " yo that is some unsynced jam" Which we all know its not! But if they hear it the way i heard this song, i can understand how they can feel that the song is messy, but to dare say that Jaco has been untight while playing thats a lie! :D
