Am I the only one that feels that Barks plays Eponine like a scared, whiney bitch... Eponine is a tough girl that's lived on the street for most of her adolescent life, she's had to fend for herself and put up with abuse from her parents. Yeah, she loves Marius, he's the only person that talks to her, but she needs to have a bit more balls in scenes like Attack on Rue Plumet etc. I appreciate Barks' lovely voice, but her portrayal of Eponine is far too refined, pretty and stereotypical.
