@gracieannabelleparker ! I’ve been a long time sub of her YT channel. Now I can say I “knew” her when. 🤗 Wish I lived closer to see the show. Great casting Muny!!

Would have LOVED to afford this show! I’ve only seen it on screen, and I’ve seen many musicals in my life but with everything else, it has become unaffordable except for the farthest back sections. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t pay hundreds to take a loved one to a show I would need binoculars in which to view. It looks really incredible. I imagine there is much talent on that stage.

There were a few hiccups during scene changes and the mic cut out a few times.

Looks like they gayed it up like everything these days.

How so? I saw it last night and it didn't stray far from any other production
@mungobuh7 ай бұрын
Can you specify what was ‘gayed up’ except for one joke in the wedding scene which has been in the libretto since 1985? Sounds like you want to see things where they don’t exist.

Lol that's hilarious. As if it hasn't been around for thousands of years. You must also not know broadway theatre very well at all in general to make a statement like that. And no, not everyone is gay, but broadway is more accepting...even to people like yourself even though you wouldn't want to be there. And that's not a new thing, either. (And trust me. You most likely know gay people and don't know it)

I don't know it just seems like they were all prancing and leaping around like Peter Pan rather than like Victor Hugo who was very serious in his writing.

@@michaelnapolitano2032 serious question, have you seen Les Mis on stage before? There are a number of fun scenes. I was seated pretty far back, so if it was more lighthearted than it usually is, i might not have noticed. But the musical has always been more lively than the book. If you're interested in a more somber, true-to-source adaptation, consider watching the 2018 miniseries on PBS
