pretty sure these were maybe just friends a/o family singing for them. While some good voices, it wasn't professional, and there were moments where they were very "off"; hwr, I think it was organized with great heart and that was the real gift - that they all, happily, participated :-) What a memorable moment for all; thoroughly enjoyed the sentiment. Clearly, it meant something to them; there was such joy. Love it! Hoping this young couple has many happy years together...lots of "one day more", if you will...

My husband and I were married onstage of the theater where I acted/directed and he designed lights and sets. We had seven singers (two of whom had performed on Broadway), all of whom were dear friends and working actors. The songs were all love songs from Broadway musicals. That was 34 years ago. This clip was beautiful because of the love behind it. What a lovely gift!

I was scrolling through to see if ANYONE else realizes that the "One day more" of this song is not celebrating the moment, wanting it not to end, it is for building up the courage needed to fight a bloody fight, risking your life. I think I've heard this done at another wedding. People, think about what you're hearing. The song is emotional, but not at all for the reasons one celebrates a wedding. Is funny, but a bit disturbing too. Aside from that, beautiful voices, well done by the performers.

I did see Phantom on the stage in London and really enjoyed it, but my favourite is Miss Saigon, I absolutely loved it and saw it three times, twice in London and once on Broadway....and I'd go and see it again in a heartbeat!! :)
