Les Paul Series Parallel Wiring

Following on from our previous video, here we demonstrate how to wire a Les Paul with CTS push pull pots to enable series/parallel switching.
Most pickups are wired in series, its what gives it it's full and beefy sound.
Putting the pickups in parallel, gives a single coil-ish tone but with a noticeable loss in output, resulting in a very thin sound.
The humbucker is a House of Tone "Tru PAF"
2 x CTS "TVT" 500k pots
2 x CTS push pull pots
2 x 0.047uF orange drop capacitors
Epiphone Les Paul
Very average guitar player

Hello. Huge fan of your soldering tutorials. Im about to wire a Jimmy Page style mod to my guitar and i have a question about soldering multiple wires into a single input as you did at C2 around 13:40 of your video. Can i twist and tin the wire and jumper together before inserting them into the terminal and then solder the connection?
