This was so helpful. We hear so much about that the church is still to love sinners but I’ve barely ever heard practical everyday things that you do/way you think when someone walks through the front door of the church. I have a family member living this lifestyle and sometimes it’s so hard to know what is the right way to “love” him and stay true to what the Bible says. So I really appreciated this podcast.

God has been speaking that to me a lot too, that shame is not from God. It’s from Satan. And Satan can use people to put the slime of shame on people. And the people in sin can blame Christians for their feeling of shame but even if everybody condoned sin, they would still feel the shame. Because there is a spirit realm that affects people and puts thoughts and feelings in them.

Please pray for my son and his girlfriend living together now. He was raised in the Christian faith. Please pray for myself and his Gpa as we pray for them both. 🙏. And it’s a difficult situation in their own relationship with each other due to health issues causing more difficulty and drama which has distanced him from us as he tries to navigate this without pulling us into it sadly. I sort of understand that and at the same time I just don’t as whatever he has happening in his life does impact us. We used to be so close as a family too before this relationship he’s in. Now it’s hard to just get him to reply to text messages and calls. It’s so very unlike him sadly. We need prayers. And they only live less than 20 minutes from us.

I really agree when I was in seventh grade I thought this tom boyish girl was attractive but I literally told my 13-14year old self no. If you're going to be attracted to boyish girl you should be with a real boy. So I dismissed the thought and never acted on it. So when you're going through puberty especially you have those thoughts

Speaking of sin and doing God's will and revering God's word: _"A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was _*_the woman who was deceived_*_ and became a sinner."_ This (like most of the New Testament) is a _spiritual_ passage, it is speaking of _spiritual_ quietness, _spiritual_ submission, _spiritual_ teaching, _spiritual_ authority. It is telling us that men and women have different _spiritual_ characteristics, different _spiritual_ roles just as they have different _physical_ characteristics and roles. It's there in Timothy, it's inspired by the spirit, it states that women are targets of spiritual deception more so than men, that's the *reason* for Paul's words, a woman might be _spiritually_ deceived by evil forces and then the man might then be _spiritually_ deceived in turn, by the woman. It is telling us what Genesis means, it is telling us that women and men undergo _spiritual_ deception in _different_ ways. A woman preaching and teaching and explaining God's word in this manner is acting _like_ a man - spiritually - that's *what* it says, it is another form, a _spiritual_ form of gender confusion. It is plain as plain as any directive about sexuality that also differentiates between male and female, stop being hypocrites. Stop substituting your own will for that of God. He who has an ear, let him hear.
