@@maxgarete5435 we have to remember Wilham is still a child trying to figure out who he is. He just lost his best friend in his brother. He was outed when he doesn’t even really know his sexuality only that he love Simon, he also have the weight of his family and the legacy on his shoulders. Not talking to him ever would be really harsh!

I think part of the reason Simon and Sara's mom wanted them both out of Hillerska was that the person who had shot and exposed Simon and Wille was one of their schoolmates. It wasn't a safe place for them anymore. I'm a bit surprised other students weren't concerned that someone could come to their window, film them and then publish it because most of them come from respectable families who wouldn't wish for such attention.

I think that look into the camera at the end was Willhem saying, I’m about to fuck things up. I think we’ll see him come out publicly next season. He’s had it with his mother and the establishment, August and everyone except for Simon betraying him. And Sara’s in crap when Simon finds out she used his trauma to blackmail August for her own selfish plans.

Sara was bullied at her previous school possibly because of her autism to the extent that she had to repeat a school year and move schools. Simon had to move schools too in order to take care of her. You'll notice throughout the season how much he checks in on her and even tries to help her make friends by getting her to the initiation party. You'll notice how at times Sara is irritated by Simon's concern for her. She wants her independence as his older sister, I think. Also, when she says no one likes me when I'm me - that was her experience from her previous school, regardless of the fact that Felice likes her now. Also, I think August could possibly be the first person that's taken an interest in her romantically and she too is exploring her sexuality as a teenager. None of these are excuses but they explain some of her motivations seen throughout the show.

AAAHHH thank you so much for your reactions to this show, i watched all of them but this is the first time i commented ^^ Imagine waiting for half a year before knowing if we would get a season 2!! you're lucky haha! I really liked that you guys were really sympathetic towards all the characters, i've seen loads of people putting all the blame on Wilhelm, not realizing that he is part of a huge old ass system and that he is literally 16... But yeah, the last scene was the promise of a revolution i feel like ^^ Oh and lastly, the problem in this wasn't really about Wilhelm being into boys (he's unlabeled as far as we know) but that he is the crown prince, so he has to produce heirs and Simon is very much lower class... Okay, rant over, Thanks again!

I don’t think Willem was resigned just to go along with things at the end. I think him hanging up on his mom was a sign that he’s realizing what’s really happening to him and growing up, finally willing not to just go along with things. And I think him hugging, not kissing Simon, and telling Simon he loves him but still leaving, was his first truly grown up act trying to take responsibility on his own. Respecting Simon’s decision, but letting him know he cares, and cares enough to go take care of his isht first. And I think him looking at the camera at the end was telling us, Oh yes, I’m about to go take care of some isht. Anyway, just my opinion. Great reaction!

I think that scene in the kitchen with simon and sara is one of the best acted in the show I've seen it so many times and it still gets to me. If you're interested in watching any cast interviews after watching the show I recommend Omar Rudberg on the Framgangspodden podcast. He talks about what it was like acting for the first time and how it is to work with the intimacy coordinator on the show. I think it's really interesting. you can find it with english subtitles

you can see both them are feeling pain because of what happen but also u can see they still in love with each other and the song is so pain for its hurts but i love when wilham look into the camera he going to start frighting back and try to fright t for the one he love and that is simon .he cant live with out simon he need him in his life.his mother doesnt care all she care about is the crown and augist is so low he one who started this shit in frist place and he so selfish only person he trusted was simon now at the moment he hasnt got him at the moment all he can do is fright and keep moveing fowerd and never give up.

I saw a comment once that really made me feel uncomfortable... the person said that the times where Wilhelm looks into the camera acknowledging the viewer its to show that even us as the viewers have been sort of 'invading' the privacy of his life... looking at his intimate parts and technically violating it. it shows how much social media has changed the privacy of a person's life and how one single moment can thrust you into a spotlight that no one is really capable of handling. But yeah just wanted to share that comment cuz it really made me think.

Yeah the issue wasn’t really homophobia but the scandal and problems it would cause with a heir for the royal family… But on a happier note the real royal family of Sweden has gone out and said that the heir can still be king or queen if they marry the same sex!🤩
