Loved the song, it’s about the Wild West attitude, getting things done with plain old hard work. About the talk of artist that delve into different genres if you’ve ever honed an art form for years you would know why its good to stretch out beyond your own bubble, basically you are adding tools to your toolbox. One of you just seems grumpy on this day lol, hope the next day was better.

The aliens are odes to all the alien movies: Cowboys vs Aliens, Men in Black, Independence Day, Star Wars...even a Little The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

I know Tom in particular has caught a lot of beef for the song he did with country artist John Rich. Nova even got a comment about singing about stuff that's not her culture..her father owned a boot store on Alberta. She grew up wearing cowboy boots. In the main though it's just them having fun.

I wasn’t sure when I first heard it but grew on me fast. I just find it a fun ride with Men in Black, Cowboys and aliens, Star Wars. This is GFBF band

I feel this was an 8 year old revisit of gfbf, and they are creating an album based on that. I agree it wasn’t my fave, didn’t hate it like most new songs. Pretty middle of the road just thinking Nova badgered him, we need to do a gfbf album and Tom saying of course cuz I love you that much.

I agree that it's an unimpressive GFBF song; this one's lyrically kinda 'meh', not deep and not showcasing either of their talents.GFBF was a pretty good alt. rock duo. But looks like they had fun creating this track and video, and it's catchy, so fair play. Check out 'I'm Not Well', 'Rejects' and 'Foul Mouth Wasted' for solid GFBF bangers, and 'Hey You' to see how good a rapper/singer Nova can be solo.
