Sizwe you seemed uncomfortable when Coconut Kelz mentioned your mixed heritage. This discomfort is very common with mixed,coloured,light-skinned or racially "ambiguous" people. It's a conversation that i feel south africans NEED TO HAVE. Pearl thusi also cried RECENTLY when talking race, light skin, privilege, advantage, disadvantage etc. I hope many people will see this POLITICS OF SKIN SHADE thing as a convo worth having at some point in life. Or are people just suppose to pretend it does not exist?

I was just trying to play along with the joke. But you’re right, colourism is definitely a big issue. I acknowledge that it exists and that light-skinned people like me often get major privileges just because of the shade of our skin. In this weird world, the closer to whiteness you are, the more privilege you get.
