In all honesty, it gets better the further from average you go. I've played is most brackets and Archon - Ancient tend to be the most toxic, but by high Divine - mid Immortal the game quality gets better not only because people tend to be more calm, but because they begin to understand the game enough to know just how much more there is to learn and practice. Games like this still happen, lulsy throws still happen, griefing still happens, but they're all a lot more rare.

Hi Speed! I have to admit I enjoy this video so much. It shows how you deal with the toxicity of your OWN TEAMMATES while still carrying the game. You don't give in to pressure and you don't feed even tho I'm sure you are tilted as f. You trust your own intuition and be able to ignore terrible advice laced with venom and threat. You even admit your own mistakes here and there. In addition, you humble yourself and act like a kid to your team so they do NOT get further tilted and appease their power trip. Great video 10/10.

Immortal is actually often more toxic than the lower MMR. Like people mostly don't flame you if you're having a good game in low MMR. But in immortal everyone has this massive ego trip.

This is by far my favorite Speed Dota video baby. This is legendary. Hopefully everyone takes two lessons away from this: 1.) Don't be discouraged by your team when they're flaming you. 2 important and 1 optional lesson here. 1. don't loose your cool. the moment you loose your cool. you'll tilt and that makes you make stupid mistakes (razor and veno are examples here) 2. don't judge a book by its cover. razor and veno judged speed by his then current rank just at the start of the game. and they immediately thought they were better than him. which blinded them to see speed's moves, actions, gameplays. which led them to think speed is just doing some stupid shit. which tilted them and made mistakes throughout the game. whatever they did on this game they were immortals. they are not stupid. they knew deep down in their gamer heart that speed carried them. which is insult on injury. because if they acknowledged this, this'll prove that their assumption would be incorrect. which is not the feeling anyone wants to feel. and last but not least. optional lesson would be of course be good at the game, lul.

The problem is that there's a disconnect between what you want to do and what your team wants to do. I think this is expected when your smurf. It's normal for average players to get a bunch of farms and try to push and end the game but obviously they can't do that with their strongest player somewhere else on the map. Ideally they need to come to you. I'm just a noob though so idk but maybe you could've done better to communicate with the team. The razor and veno were bad for sure

I thought so at first too, but it actually happens when the video is edited and republished. My cheap video editing software would do this sometimes, it would mismatch the video and audio in certain spots, and to compensate, it just speeds up the video rendering so that it all matches in the end. So when he edits the video to add in the intro and "SUBSCRIBE TO GAMELEAP" cuts, it probably messes with the original footage.

Calling someone a "plant" is an old meme from dota 1. You would have a teammate who was playing so poorly it was like someone on the other team had "planted" them on your team and was micro'ing them just enough to not raise your suspicions. Since the pubs were all open lobbies it was technically possible to "plant" a player on the other team but I doubt it was that common.
