Use of the Internet on the go, or when making mobile phone calls, is made possible thanks to the invisible electromagnetic waves that mobile phones emit or receive. However, did you know that this electromagnetic frequency range, or spectrum, is a highly precious resource. In 2008 the US government made a whopping $19 billion through a spectrum auction. In this video we will look at the scientific reasons why this invisible electromagnetic frequency range is such a valuable resource.

Notes 1. The information signal is delivered using EM from cellular data to tower. Every EM waves (analog signal) have it own frequency and amplitude. 2. How the signal reach the accurate receiver? The frequency signal differs for every users. Mobile phone will only accept the signal where the signal assigned to it. Every signal has it own data frequency. 3. Other fq will be rejected by phone filter circuit. 4. Each devices has it unique frequencies. Or frequency ranges. So each device has it own fq range. 5. Antenna are capable to transmit signal into this frequency range or band. 6. Every device filtering circuit also allows a fq band. 7. Udung frequency modulation. High fq express as 1, low frequency express as 0. 8. Signal sent over the fq are protected by every device encryption. Which mean only your device can decrypt it. Hacker can’t access the information. 9. As the world is wide, EM is limited. Assigning a unique frequency range yo each user in the world is impossible. Why fq bad is limited and how to overcome. Notes about EM spectrum. - EM energy increase while wavelength decreases. - in order radio wave to Infrared, uv waves and gamma waves. -higher fq of EM, the worse the penetration capability. - Nntilah sambung

No, this video is not accurate anymore starting from 3g, even before before LTE. 3g wcdma and 4g LTE greatly improve frequency reuse, so the same frequency can be also assigned to users within different sector if the same cell (3g) or even within same cell sector (4g LTE and MIMO with beamforming)

Could’ve used a more tangible scale for the EM spectral picture, in place or in addition to the solely Hz range.... and another scale describing a relative attribute for the wave form at the top woulda been good also.
