Chris Mel I must have been impressed with GiGi, my father, who was 30yrs old, took me 5 yrs, and me older twin brothers, 8 yrs twins, took the three of us to the Kent movie theater in Brooklyn NY. One of my earliest childhood memories. Love GiGi to this day.

Caron's mother was from Topeka Kansas , and more or less forced to speak French, appar. they all made fun of her for her efforts , and really never taught Leslie very much English - but some ... Miss Caron's autobiog. is very interesting ..

Louis Jourdan was a man of modesty and humility, who wore his huge talent and success lightly. Alas by all accounts the same could not be said of Leslie Caron - whose ego was at its most inflated after she married the great English theatre director Sir Peter Hall.
