Frank Drebin and Frank Columbo teaming up to bust crime in Los Santos was something I did not expect and yet it fills me with a lot of glee.

It's great to see people still remember Columbo and Leslie Nielson. There is an old episode of the Untouchables starring Robert Stack that had Leslie Nielson in a serious role. He did a great job. You would not think he could play a convincing bad guy but he can. Peter Faulk (Columbo) was also in an episode and did a good job as a would be con artist. Of course he could not con Netti and the mob.

My dad always tells me about how when he went to see Airplane! in theaters when it first came out, he nearly choked at the "Shirley" bit. Up to that point, he said Leslie Nielsen had always played serious roles where he's the dashing lead in romance movies and such. To see this dead-serious actor delivering absurd lines with the same super serious dead-pan delivery actually made him spit-up his soda, and the guy sitting in front of him was laughing too hard to care.
