Lovely Leslie, thankyou for your hotwater bottle cover pattern, its summer here in Aus but I cant wait to cast on, I really needed a couple of simple satisfying knits inbetween my lovenote and other crafts. For the first time Im messing around with adding my own bust darts and short row shaping to the neck of the lovenote. On top of that my brain just was not computing with the simple lace pattern at the start, I had to unknit and rip back about 6 times before I finally got the lace complete. Your inpiring scarf with icord edge and hotwater bottle cover are just the ticket for this weary brain that is refusing to play fair. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for sharing, and I hope your enjoy your cosy knits on the couch with hot drinks and happy company on those lovely winter days and nights.

I made a pair of the Sunday socks for myself - I’m like you I have very sensitive feet, I want to wear knitted socks with my Birkenstocks or shoes but I just can’t. I’m very particular about my socks. I knitted a pair of Sundays socks but I decided to do it with size US 4 (3.5 mm) because when I tried size 6 they were too loose. I asked Marlene from Marleneknits (who knitted many Sunday socks) and she used a 3.5 mm. I’m making a pair for my son now and I’m using a size US4 again. I always prefer if my socks are tighter. I love your water bottle cover. Thank you so much for the pattern. I will be making one for myself soon. ❤❤❤
