He began construction, as always, from the foundation, that is, the site for the house. Having finished work on the site, I moved on to the frame of this magical house.
I collected the whole house only on self-tapping screws

I'm utterly enthralled with the skills this man possesses (whether gifted, or earned, or both) on absolutely All LEVELS. Planning, building with your own hands, all while filming and editing the process stunningly. Then to top it off you cook YOURSELF an absolutely mouth watering meal. This is an AMAZING channel that I was EXCITED to be able to share with my grandchildren so they can learn about this craft and self-sufficiency among a myriad of other short and tall lessons. Even the idea that silence can be so relaxing. Working to build something with your own hands so rewarding, and time alone in nature so grounding.

Dude I think 🤔 this is my favorite tiny house made out of pallets so far, you did an incredible job, you have really good skills, but it’s amazing what you or anyone can build with recycled materials and only a few tools. I’ve been watching videos like this to get an idea because I have some land back in my country that I want to build on, and bro thank you so much for sharing I need I could replicate this build, thank you again for sharing. You know sometimes I think that life could be so simple, just look what we could build with only sone imagination and we could live mortgage free and rent free all we need is some land, but that would be a simple life and not all people would agree to live this way, but for some people like me that’s one of my dreams to live simple and close to nature. The world needs people to live farrr smaller and more connected to the woods and not require a 2500 foot house with 8 total rooms, 2 showers, 3 toilets, 2 sinks, a washer dryer stove microwave toaster coffee pot... etc... humanity has accepted (in 1st world countries) this weird way of living.. its so unnatural.

It is alot of work dismantling pallets. Probably easier to leave them intact and fill with straw/ cob.

Outstanding build using salvaged materials! Love the simplicity and elegance as well as the aesthetic look of the A frame. If you would have put hinges on the base of the platform instead of nailing the boards on, you would have had a great cubby hole for storing items in plastic containers. you could still do that next time around as you further improve and decorate this awesome shelter.

This looks like the A-frame tiny cabin "Girl in the Woods" built a number of months ago. She also added a rubbery/ some sort of seal along the hinged edge of the wall that raises up so it could help keep water out and I *think she can even have it open when it's raining if she wanted due to that and a decent-sized deck.

It basically is- based (and hers) off my original plans and build from 8 years back- I have plans for it on my "relaxshacks" blog. This one in the video was more free form (esp with pallets), but I love it- it came out great! Fun video too!

I've seen this one looks like deek Deekerson's design. Yours is cooler looking though I'm a bit concerned about the foundation lasting very long, blocks or something? Also we live in Michigan so the mosquitoes and rain would be a problem with the flip up door. Looks easy and cheap to build though. You definitely know how to cook very well.
