I have built an enclosed shelter only finding things outside and only using shovels with my friend and it is hard work . The planning on this and time needed to execute this is something I couldn't have done. Good job.

Not all the work. The pellets come from ikea or somewhere like that and making those would be the most difficult part of the whole building. Look at these buildings for example kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6W0qIaCj9WlqZY and kzbin.info/www/bejne/fn-3l399qZpsp9E getting the logs and the rocks is a big part if not the main part of the building process. Setting the thing up is also hard work but can’t even compare to building the thing with materials you obtain yourself.

Its going to leak like a sieve. No water proofing, home building is done with tight fitting plywood and grace water barrier then the shingles. With non butting pallet wood with just the shingles, it is destined to leak. Beautiful not functional.

@jamesbernard6841

Be careful the wood you choose for stumps, as a tree trimmer/outdoorsman I can tell you maple and other softer wood like pine will rot within a couple years easy, also a few stones under your stump won't hurt. You want locust, oak, hackberry, Osage (hedge apple), make sure you pick a wood that has a very tight and dense grain. Do your research and then you should be able to find some free logs on fb/online 👌🏼
