LESS CUSTOMERS TURN UP AT NEWLY ALLOTTED SATURDAY BAZAR: SUPERMARKET

Dimapur District Citizen Forum (DDCF) informed that the Saturday weekly market would be open at the Naga shopping arcade from July 13 . In this regard NLTV went on a ground report to witness a less turn up of vendors at the newly allotted Saturday bazar at supermarket. The vendors reported that most of the vendors as well as the public continued to carry out their market at Chumou as they were not aware of the new allotted place. While interacting with the vendors, they stated that since there were less customers, they are facing huge losses as their organic vegetables are prone to rotting quickly due to extreme humidity. They also stated that they are hoping for a positive turn up from next Saturday.

When the products are very expensive compared to non local vendor's, what are you expecting from customers.. Nijor naga manu ase koi kina expensive hoi le bi kini thakibo naki 😅 hoi local vendors kan laga saman kini kina madaat koribo lage, hoi le bi tai kan laga saman hih bishi dam koi, toh public bhi pakala nahoi, kaun sosta maal chari kina dam wala bisari thabiko ho.. Aru kaun hoile bi complain toh kori thakibole hih ase... Aru hoise konba toh ekdin ek rati para dhun hobo nisna kora thake 😂

Here the price is too high that's why we always go shopping to Sunday bazzaar dhilai gate karbi anglong.if the price is too high how can we help local entrepreneurs. Or go early morning to wholesale market near hotel pink city.most of them purchase from there and sell in Newmarket, Wednesday bazzar.

To be honest our local vegetable vegetables vendors sell products at very high cost.And to be honest again,most of the vegetables they sell are bought from murgi Patti at whole sale rate which are brought by the Karni people and later sell them as locally grown at double the rate.

They don't wanna listen to agri dept and institutions advice and the they use DDT. They call it Nimok dhaley. That's more dangerous than agriculture approved Pesticides that other states uses in recommended doses. Maybe in Organic AC market we will get Real organic but chances or Getting organics are very doubtful in Nagaland. Unless you grow by yourself or know the farmer personally. Even if you grow by urself if you have toxic leaching into your soil and you have know knowledge about all these then organic toh no chance
