This does have a Eurovision vibe for sure. Reminds me also a bit of that interval act they did in Sweden last time that was like a tutorial for a Eurovision song. This could actually work very well as an interval act.

I keep coming back to this song because I absolutely love it. This for me is one of the Horne Section pieces that really stands out as a phenomenal bit of music and not just a joke or a comedy track. It's really fantastic. Similar vibes to "Seasons" which I also love. Fantastic.

Not gibberish I don’t think, but also not sure if that was Cantonese. 少即是多 (Mandarin: Shǎo jí shì duō, lit. Less is more) is what I assumed they were going for. Would love an answer from someone better versed in Chinese

Maybe add some harmonies and sing a line in mandarin doesn’t really work so well.
@dmuller77644 ай бұрын
I was also curious about whether that line sung "in cantonese" was actually cantonese and I asked some native speakers of both mandarin and cantonese at work and the mandarin is indeed closer to being accurate but as others have said, the word "cantonese" fits in better with the song

Hello! I hope this helps? let me know... Obviously simplify or zizz it up as you like! This is the main intro/verse/chorus: E F#m7 EM7/G# A EM7/G# F#m7 (x2) E F#m7 EM7/G# A(+6+9) (x2) C#m B E A C#m B E Bsus B A/E E C#m (m6 - 5) F#m7 Bsus B A/E E A E/B Cdim7 C#m F#m7 E/G# Bsus B Repeat verse/chorus a second time... Key changes below if you want them!
@BethanyLowe87733 жыл бұрын
For key change sections (after the above). Csus C (keeey change) Bb/F leading into chorus a semitone higher. Then: Csus (key change again) Db/Ab leading into chorus a third higher! Repeat penultimate line ('so when you are sure') Then: Bbm Cm Db/Eb (or Ebsus or something)
