I really enjoy watching you guys! Not cool getting so close to the whales, especially with their babies... in Canada (& USA), we have to stay 328 feet away or big problems with the law. Causes lots of stress on the whales. Safe travels in Mexico and enjoy the sunshine 😎
@LessJunkMoreJourney Жыл бұрын
They swam to us, it was a great experience.
@lindajohnson4204 Жыл бұрын
But in these "nursery" lagoons, the mamas actually bring their babies up to the little boats to meet the people, and be petted by them! That's what makes it such a special experience. If the whales begin to experience it as pressure, maybe too many boats, or the people do jerky things, the first change will probably be that the mamas just won't bring the babies to meet us, anymore. And sadly, some people probably do seek it out as something to ruin. But while there's a delicate balance, that allows the moms to think we're a good experience for their babies, I would sure take mine to see them.
@weir7580 Жыл бұрын
Just weird it's against the law here in Canada & USA yet OK to do in Mexico...
