We really wanted space at the show, but the way the lottery works, GD had a much smaller area this year. We had it over at Lazydays where we held an event. Keep an eye on our emails for updates and more behind the scene details. So sorry you missed it, but there is another opportunity this spring to see it in person.

The LJMJ is amazing. Wish it could combine with the extra storage under the bed of the Brinkley. Think it would be great for our family. Wondering if a one ton non dually would work.

Excellent video! A couple of questions - - for those of us non-fulltimers: Is Starlink going to be a ‘required package’ - even for those of us who want to go out for 4-6 weeks and and avoid (or, limited) Internet/television? ALSO: Lots of electric RV news last year - seems as though none this year? Is industry looking to see how 2025 sales go before being more committed to electric options?
@LessJunkMoreJourney11 күн бұрын
There are definitely other options for internet/tv aside from Starlink, they just know it's the most reliable when camping in the middle of nowhere to in the cities. As for the electric updates, I know the last few years the push has been solar with some electric changes, but you're right, this year there wasn't as much - it was more about design and layout changes.

I have been thinking about building a pad with power, sewer, and water there and put a destination RV on it to use as a guest house. Since it's a RV, it isn't considered a structure so it wouldn't raise the property tax.

The kitchen in your proto type is WAY to small. the entire living space compared to the Brinkley layouts is by far inferior to some of the other layouts, which provide much more living and family space than the SolitudeLJMJ design. It may work for your family but the overall layouts of almost ALL the other models you shared were far superior than this one. Most folks want ample living inside for entertaining and living space. The deck is nice but many others have nice decks and still have better use of great space inside. Not a fan of the new layout at all. But loved you showing us all the new options, The Brinkley by far has my vote for best interior and layout design, The G3250 can hardly be beat IMO. that one was stunning..
@LessJunkMoreJourney9 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your feedback! Our biggest goal was to stay at 43ft vs going longer - the other models are longer and have more space for that reason. These layouts are all so amazing and they all have such great pluses (and minuses) for each.

So after years of people saying even the S2RV chassis is not a “proper” Super C (commercial truck chassis), now this is being called a “Super C”? Why not just call it something else?
@LessJunkMoreJourney12 күн бұрын
I'm not sure! But we sure thought it was pretty!
@rvcruising12 күн бұрын
@@LessJunkMoreJourneyI think it’s a great unit! But I don’t think they are doing it, or “proper Super Cs” any favors calling it a Super C as it dilutes the Super C class, and this unit doesn’t compare to a “proper” Super C (check out the Renegades, for example). They are different beasts, so it seems it would be better to give it its own class or name. 🤷🏻♀️ Btw, Jayco and Entegra have done the same thing: they have one of these 4x4 Cs and have given it the same model/series name as their S2RV chassis series.🤷🏻♀️

I think the destination trailers will be a hit because of all the natural disasters currently going on. Many RVers who are ready to "hang up the keys" will take this route in RV resorts. While all the new designs are fantastic (mostly because the mfg's are finally asking RVers who use them for their input) the industry is in need of quality workmanship and standing behind their products. Way too many horror stories from buyers with serious build issues and not getting taken care of. Until serious changes take place in the RV industry I will not be buying ANY new RV's. The industry is great in marketing propaganda but fails miserably in quality and customer service.
@LessJunkMoreJourney12 күн бұрын
I wish there was a way to get service taken care of like a car dealership - that if they sell GD, they service GD (without the waits). But I'm not sure how that would get enacted. It's changing, with more demand and more push back, change has to happen and will happen.
