They are the most beautiful falls ever. I was on a Grand Canyon River trip with a private group in 1989. I decided that I wanted to leave after 2 weeks and one of the guides was hiking out and driving back to Flagstaff that day. I joined him for the hike up to Supai from the river(6 miles) and then on up to the top where the car was parked. (16 miles total). I didn’t realize what I was going to see that day, it took me totally by surprise. It was the most beautiful place on the planet. I was 4 months pregnant. I’m so glad I did it that day. I’d always said I wanted to go back. In the meantime life had other plans and it became clear I could not hike that far again. I’m so glad you did this trip so I can see it all through your eyes, again. ( I only had to climb up that portion up around Mooney Falls thank goodness!)And you filmed ALL of it. Most epic video EVER. Thank you thank you thank you. ❤

I was there in 2009!!! Absolutely worth EVERY PENNY and EVERY HASSLE! It was 106 degrees on the day we left, so we opted for the helicopter. And that was actually one of the best parts, to be able to see so much more of the area ! Too bad you didn't swim back behind Mooney or up to the falls - you really feel the incredible force of it that way! Kudos for making the trip and sharing with everyone here.

WOW!!!! What an amazing adventure for you. I wouldn’t want to do it in a million years…but watching you make the journey was awesome!! My husband and I are 75 years old and we just went to the Grand Canyon for the first time last month. However, we took the train ride from Williams to the Canyon and then took the bus tour. There was no way we could do much walking. The views from the lookouts were nice, but nothing compared to what we saw in your video. I think you have to go down into the canyon to get the real experience. Still glad I went…but should have gone when we were in our 30s or 40s. We just couldn’t afford it back then. I LOVE your videos… I get to see so much of the country and God‘s beautiful creation that I wouldn’t get a chance to see if you did not video everything for us! THANK YOU!! 🙏❤️🙏

I did this hike with a few friends back in December of 2017. With it being so late in the season the temps were much cooler (though still warm during the day) and the campground was almost deserted (but that could also be because it hadn’t gotten quite as popular as it is now). Bonus and, it didn’t cost anywhere near what it does today. It WAS an epic hike… the canyon views, the waterfalls… and I would go again in a heartbeat, I’d just have to pick a time when the crowds aren’t so intense.

With two of you being sick I'm thinking drinking the water from the river or spring might not have been such a good idea. I did a similar thing in what I thought was a very clean river in Missouri or Arkansas, my stomach wasn't right for a week. Maybe a life straw would be a good idea next time. Other than that a very nice hike. Keep the good stuff coming guys and give the kids a hug for me.

Loved your story about Havasupai. Yes, experiences are worth the money. I do not remember paying much for camping in Havasupai. There’s more to explore than I remember in Supai. I did a lot of Grand Canyon backpacking while living in Arizona and did Havasupai twice. We are retired and in our 70’s and hubby and I have less energy for the same kind of adventures as when we were younger. We did, however, do a Jet Boat tour in Hell’s Canyon in May, enjoyed it. We have a trailer and a Road trek Van we use for camping. Love your KZbin channel .

Great job . Awsome I’ve been there 3 times before many years ago. Seems they are making it more expensive and much harder. Last time I went with my oldest son , we hiked down which was great. No problems finding a nice campsite , but it wore me out as was much older than previous times so I paid to fly out with chopper. Had to get in line early in morning so we got there very early and were the second trip out . Took less then 15 minutes to fly out and took us almost 6 hrs to hike in there😮 Saw lots of what you guys did but missed many of the places you went to. Lots of different falls to explore. Good job😊

I did this trip in August 1991 for 5 days. We Were down by Mooney Falls and only could see part of the sky. It got very dark and cloudy very quickly. We scrambled up the chains and ran back to our campsite. The rangers were there and told us to prepare to evacuate. They waited with us under a rock outcropping and we watched the beautiful Havasu Falls get much wider and very muddy. The storm did not last long and we hiked out early the next morning. Make sure you are on your way before 5:30 am. Some in our group lolligagged and we were late leaving and we were on the steepest and hardest part of the trail by 9:30 am and it was already about a 100 degrees F. This was an awesome trip and one of the best vacations ever. The water coming out of the mountains was clean but high in Ca+2 and upset our stomachs. Make sure your packs are light and you train for afew months before you go. It was SO worth it.

On the three GC raft trips I've done they always stop at Havasu Creek and hike a little ways up stream. There's an area where it's like natures Jacuzzi as the water pours over the tufa. Havasu creates a rapid and that's right where they have to tie the large rafts to as it's a rock hogback.

6-7 day motorized commercial. I've used two different companies GCEX and Canyoneers and no complaints really. The two I used go all the way to Lake Mead. Others end the trip after Lava Falls rapid and helicopter you up to a ranch or they possibly have access through the Native reservation at Diamond Creek. I've always gone close to Labor Day. My next trip will be a two week dory trip. I think i put on weight on the trip as regardless of the outfitter you will eat well.

That was a great video! Especially showing all the different falls. I went there as a teenager years ago when it was free except for the campground, which was like $10. We would drive from Phoenix and get there around midnight. We hiked all night and got to the campground in the morning. We would cowboy camp on the ground (no tent) and sleep a few hours and then enjoy the falls. It is one of my favorite memories because it is such a magical place. I wouldn't hesitate to spend that much to see it again, but I don't think my body could take it. :)

At my age I would choose waterfalls closer to Chattanooga or the Smokies. But is was fun watching you all. Blessings

Happy Anniversary to you both. I really enjoyed watching this hike. I had no idea there are waterfalls this beautiful and and color of the water is amazing. Its on my places to go now, just hope i can afford it. Lol. And Nathan, you think you might have picked up a bacteria from drinking the water? Lindsey did great as well .Hope Stewart gets well. Looking forward to the next adventure

Yeah, Marissa pointed out that I drank from the spring when she watched the final cut before we uploaded and said that might have given me the bacteria, but my understanding was that the Spring was OK to drink from. We filtered everything else we drank. But who knows 🤷 I totally could have gotten it from drinking the water. That was definitely what it felt like. - Nathan

I’ve been there 3 times in the 90s and early 2000s, back then it was only $50 for 3 nights. Wow prices have gone up😮. It is a very beautiful place!
