I moved here in 2021 from the east coast. Each local suburb part of the city has its own vibe and culture. The mountains are so diverse and there’s so much to do. I have a picture of me holding snow with the strip in the background in late JUNE! You can bike ride on endless trails in Red Rock, 1 hour downhill. And the best part is the strip keeps tourists distracted away from some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, so you can always find your quiet space in “heaven.”

it's awful and you should never go to Nevada, it's just terrible and boring
@ferdienaraval1438 Жыл бұрын
@@MsQ275 Bahaahaaa! Well, I guess it all depends on each person's perception. If you like vegas or if you like the country life. Either way it's not all bad. I mean there are a lot of people that live there and each one may or not love it. We all have choices and those who stay in Nevada weather it be in vegas or outside of vegas must love it.

His channel has a lot of variety because he doesn't limit himself to any one subject matter like most other channels. Also, he's giving us the perspective from someone from east of the Mississippi, showing the west through his eyes which can be a fresh new take on things. Thanks for the stories, take care and travel on !!

I think that its great that you do these things. You’re showing the real world that we are living in now and what some major issues are. You’re real man. Keep it that way.

My 19 year old son and I just had the adventure of a lifetime… most petrifying experience driving a 1987 Fleetwood Bounder (the breaking bad rv) from Reno back to Vegas where we live…past all these little places I haven’t seen in years… including an old gas station area that looks like a place from the hills have eyes movie… took some great pics, but took us 13 hours to get home because I could only drive 35-40 miles an hour (no real power steering or control of the 37 footer) so we got a loooong opportunity to check things out. Lol. Thanks again Peter for your incredible journalism… especially from my whole family’s home town of Vegas!!

He is one of the most gracious hosts I have ever witnessed. No matter where he is, he is never judgemental, just reporting. May God bless this man and his family.

Thanks, Peter. Great video. Please keep producing videos about people who live outside the cities, in rural America. The big media outlets are clueless. They either ignore us, or completely distort our values and way of life. You have a rare gift for drawing people out and getting them to talk. Keep it up!

This is such a wholesome video all together. Love the way you approach and interview people Peter and incorporate their stories in your documentaries if I may call them that. Excellent work and this is by far one of my favourite channels on KZbin. 💚💚💚 Love from Ireland.

So interesting, Peter. When you said, "It's like being in a picture," it made me giggle. That's what I told my husband last week when I got home from Navajo reservation. I said the same thing. It's so beautiful. The landscape was so amazing. I thought I was in a painting or calendar. Crazy how traveling around can allow you to feel that way. Thanks for all you do.

The joys of hitting the road and talking to the locals. Best type of getaways. America still has a lot of fascinating subcultures and unique communities although most are gone having been replaced by corporate monoculture.

meaningless little comment that nobody will actually care for: we walked past Peter filming the outro on our first day in Vegas and you cannactually see us makes us a bit happy! apart from that, I have only clicked through the video a little bit so far but it was amazing to see how diverse the area around Las Vegas is and how quickly you can get to so many different places

Wether Peter considers himself a journalist or not, this is real reporting. He actually let's the subject speak for itself instead of twisting it to fit whatever thought or belief he may have. Excellent stuff

I’ve been traveling outside of Vegas for decades and unfortunately haven’t had the opportunity to speak with the locals as you have Peter. There’s so much to see, the donkeys in Beatty, NV are comical. The story I was told. When Rhyolite dried up, buildings were dismantled, put on the train in taken to Las Vegas to be rebuilt there. And the train tracks were pulled up as it left town. Safe travels 🍻
