The fact that us, humans, are craving for the existence of life outside the earth, are the most dangerous and yet most unreasonable to study. Kasi, 'di ba, why do we settle for another something that we do not have when in the fact that we already have that: we just have to improve it kasi it would really take years, or should I say million of years, for the scientists or the experts to find out what they are looking for. Therefore, for now, the best thing we could do is that to improve and make our Earth be more habitable than we expected, especially on our situation right now where we are slowly dying because of climate change caused by us, humans.

Correct, Jesus. Amen to that and to you. 😊

Lemaitre actually dismissed the possibility of a divine intervention sa kaniyang theory. It is said that, though he was actually supported by numerous priests who included a "divine touch" to his idea, Lemaitre only included the scientific side of the Big Bang Theory, which is what a great scientist will do.

as a student hindi ako pabor sa pag hahanap ng mga scientist ng source of life in other planet. I mean earth is dying and life is already in earth. Why cant we just focus on our home instead focusing in other planet why cant we just spend our time and attention and the money that we used on studying other planet to find life in which is impossible.

For us to understand more on how we can survive, we need to understand the universe itself as the universe is us. If we focus on ourselves and don't give enough time for us to analyze what is, was, and will be in the universe, it can lead to our own demise. Besides, with the current state of the Earth, it is difficult to even reverse our current environmental situation, so while we are trying our best to save Earth, it is their (specifically, astrobiologists) job to find the very definition of life and its factors because Earth is not eternal. We cannot always save Earth as the Sun will lose its nuclear materials in the future, causing the Earth to lose its primary energy source. Science is not always comforting (as it is objective), but it surely helps us know what type of reality we're living in, so science should not be limited. We already have defined major questions regarding the rocky sphere we're living in. It is time for us to pursue the bigger questions; questions that are bigger than you and me or the entirety of Earth and its constituents. It is by analyzing what can't be seen by the naked eye that we can truly know why we are here, what is our nature, and what is our fate.
