I found Chapter 6 when I was a young mother and asked to give the lesson for the Stake Activities leadership meeting. I thought, well, what is the purpose of activities? When I read that the fulness of Nephi's intent was to bring people to God, I ws thrilled, and based my lesson on that. No matter what we do in the church, from spiritual things to temporal things, we can have our eye single to the glory of God. Our enjoyment of our brother and sister's company or our family or personal scripture study can be done in a way that helps bring all of us closer to our Savior and our Heavenly Father.

If you are serious about learning more about your purpose, this is an excellent way to start. It is through the scriptures our Heavenly Father speaks to us. This series teaches us how to listen.

When I saw Bro Halverson’s announcement in UNSHAKEN I was so excited. I only completed 1 year of Seminary-9th grade. I never really learned HOW to study the scriptures. Thank you!
