Wow, thank you for the wonderful and kind words :) I very much appreciate it! Me alegraría mucho si pudiera producir mis videos en español también, pero desgraciadamente mi pronunciación en español es terrible, así que me parece mejor no intentarlo :-D

Vielen Dank, und sehr gute Idee! I am considering some ways to produce more German-only content and thinking about doing that in a separate playlist, with more practice-oriented content, rather than in the grammar playlist itself. What would you think about that?

Hi Stefanie, Fist of all, I really like your no-entertainment approach. Now a question, in the example of "Der Unterricht __________....", why didn't you add an 'e' in the verb conjugation of beginnen, as the verb has the ending with an 'n'? Thanks!

Hi Stefanie! I want to know 2 thing . First,For example,when I say 'I dusche mich' 'dusche' is reflexive verb and 'mich' is an reflexive pronoun.Also 'mich' is put in Accusative case because mich is an object? I mean mich/dich/sich/uns/euch/sich also can be object of the sentence? or just if the verb is reflexive, we can use them? Second,is the verb 'vergessen' insepereble verb?But There is not any meaning of second part -gessen - I would be grateful if you clear up my confusion.

Hello! Yes correct, the reflexive pronoun functions as the object that receives the action of the verb, but it does not necessarily have to be the only verb in a sentence. If there is another Accusative object in the sentence, the reflexive pronoun will become Dative case. You can use personal pronouns in Accusative or Dative with other verbs as well. But then the subject is usually another person, therefore it is no longer reflexive. For example: Er ruft mich an. And yes, vergessen in an inseparable verb as suggested by the prefix ver, which is always inseparable. Liebe Grüße!

When I`d like to say about enjoying an activity represented by a reflexive verb, where I have to put "gern"? For instance: Ich entspanne mich gern vs. Ich entspanne gern mich - which one is correct?
@BitteaufDEUTSCH
@BitteaufDEUTSCH 3 жыл бұрын
Very good question! In this case, your first example sentence was absolutely correct: Ich entspanne mich gern. The reflexive pronoun immediately follows the conjugated verb, whereas gern then follows the predicate as a whole (the predicate here is the combnination of verb + ref. pronoun).
